When you vape cinnamon 90% of the time, glass is a necessity. Mine have shipped. TY to whoever it was who posted the Chobra glass link in the coop thread! Not having them has given me a new appreciation for the pomegranate juice that I picked up from a mall kiosk.
In order for OCD at IBTanked to get the glass sized for the Chobras, Striker was able to send him one of his samples to use. That was the only way to get the glass up as quickly as it was as OCD needed an actual Chobra to put one on. :)

Striker are you getting one back from him for it?
seems that would be the cool thing to do.

No but I tried to sell it to him at cost and he volunteered to give me $5 extra. I did plan on getting a couple but the tanks just don't crack. I will probably end up getting some but for now it just dont seem like its needed. Maybe if I had a nice PV I would be more into the looks but none of the PVs I have at the moment cost over $50. I have a VV Gripper and a Telescope. So I guess if I like the ZMax clone id be up for completing the look of the Chobra. For now its a luxury I really don't need.

When you get your glass tanks can you put some of that cinnamon in with the stock tank on and see if it cracks or fogs? Would be interesting to see what it does.

I can do that. It's DIY but has a little red hot in the mix. Even if it doesn't crack, it would have to affect the plastic I think.

I tried to set up my second Chobra this morning. The platform with the fill hole and screws on it spins around the shaft. Is there an easy fix for this?
Awesome. I think coke flavor is the most acidic juice ive tried but who knows. Cant try them all. Coke cracked a nova tank in like 20 seconds but did nothing to the stock Chobra tank days in. Used 25ML without incident. If yours gets messed up I will send you one of mine so you still have a spare.

On the cap. I got one broke loose buy making sure its snug and trying to unscrew really fast. Like jerking it as hard and fast as I could. On the second one it did not work doing it that way. I also seen here someplace where someone rocked it back and forth. Also something about putting it under hot water. For all three methods above you will need to snug the top down to the center pole.

If all else fails the risky method: I unscrewed one for days till all three of the center post nuts came off. That messed up the bottom insulator though.

No. I have the plastic tank off of it and the cap off of it. So, it's just the inside metal part. The entire piece that holds the screws is loose on the center post. I stole someones picture and marked it up:

I have a strawberry shortcake DIY mix which cracked, actually shattered, the Kir Fanis tube for my DID in less than a minute. So far it has had no effect on the Chobra stock tank.

Not much you can do about it now that it's stripped. There should be an o ring there so it shouldn't leak. Thinker o rings on the tank section should help hold it in place.

Order a glass tank from ibtanked.com, the new o rings he sends out are thick and should hold it all in place.

Sorry I was looking at the pic and thought you were talking about a chid.
I dont know if the chobra comes apart I have one here I will mess with later today

The Chobra has the exact same parts as the chid so ya it screws together and your video of the chid should help her if its just loose. Hope thats all it is.
