In a grander scheme of things, "stainless is steel" is not actually stainless.

I'm using both the Provari and the 28 gauge kanthal and I haven't seen a single error code yet...using a 8/9 coil Peter K style.

Cool....However most people don't set up with 9 wrap coils...it kind of defeats the purpose of the 28g wire....your response times will be worse than some one doing 5 or 6 wraps 30g and and your vape will be cooler... but to each his own . Most people who use 28g wire like to do low ohm set ups (1 ohm and lower) and for those type of set ups you can't use VV devices....except for the Provari v2. But to set it up with an unoxidized wick will be a real pain...if not impossible for some one trying it for the first time.
BTW....None of my juices burns with low ohm coil set ups using 28g wire vaping at 15 watts plus. I use pg juices and tobacco flavors. I know a lot of people who vape 100% vg juice and fruit juices at sub 1ohm levels with 28g wire at 20 watts...never heard them complaining about burnt juices either. If I vape at high wattage with 32g wire, yes I will burn my juices but not when vaping at very high watts and 28g wire. I guess everyones experience is different.

Sorry Bj, but I have to say this while this comment is here, rather than there.
Edo, Are you really vaping at 15+Watts?, I highly doubt it, calculations for watts on a mech mod are reliant on that mech mod actually delivery the voltage under load, the lower Ohm the coil the less any given battery can supply even with the best mechanical mods you will lose many more volts than you might imagine, not to mention the watts used up in heating a large highly saturated mass of mesh. Just saying![]()
Chris....The gentleman wanted to do a straight PetarK setup...not one with a hybrid wick....at least that's what I thought.
We're getting a little off topic but if you want a hotter vape you can come to my thread in the modders forum and we can discuss it there.
aren't curious people neat (Yeah I know it's a '70s thing)
Here's the MSDS data:
CHROMIUM OXIDE

So Chromium Oxide's melting point is 4415 degrees Fahrenheit ... what's the odds of any toxic vapors actually being released?
