I Especially Like the Paragraph at the bottom of Page 63 and the top of Page 64 in the "Big Book".
Cool... Hopefully the Page Numbers are not Wacked like in some Book => Kindle conversions.
The Paragraph I referenced is in Chapter 3 - How It Works. And it starts out with...
"Next we launched out on a course of vigorous action, ..."

I spent a great deal of my life in isolation due to the Internet.
And now I am seeing reality for what it is, for a change.
I was spending money mindlessly on books to find the way out of existence, as if some magical force is going to take me out of the labyrinth of life.
I know now though that my life can be better with substance abuse in check.

My father passed away from an advanced case of RA,
It was so bad it actually had entered his lungs and caused them to turn to concrete.
He came from Scotland, and passed away in America
He died almost 2 years ago, I never felt like I was extremely upset.
There were times though he would scream at me for the likes of smoking and/or drinking.
Him Suggesting that I was a "loser".
I could never be angry at him, as all I did was help him along in his condition.
He smoked, and was able to quit through hypnosis back in the 1980's.

No single program is going to fix everyone and some people don't have the capability to be helped in the same way. This program has worked very well for me and I feel blessed to have the sobriety I never thought was possible. Not trying to start a religious debate but it does work very well for me.
The difficult part for me was being completely honest that i had an issue. Following the steps worked for me and I am very grateful this program was around for me to use. I feel bad if it doesn't work for some and I pray that they find a solution that works for them
