Starbucks taste like poop anyways. Never liked them. And I went there one time to buy my mother something because she was "dying" from the lack of coffee and this girl smelled so bad behind the counter I don't think she'd bathed in a year. So I left and called mom and said I'll get you coffee from the store and we will make it. UGH But as far as the act of vaping indoors I'm kinda with a lot of others, I don't mind going outside. 1 because the people I go to school with and work with that go outside are all still the same people I liked talking to anyways. 2 because it's nice to just get out of there. But at home you won't catch me outside unless we are outside for a reason and not just to vape.

I'm sure you an find a "Locally" owned Coffee House, that is "Vape" Friendly, and get's their beans from a locally owned roastery (Fresher!). Many roast in house.. I haven't been to a SB's in years, we have great locally owned places everywhere in the KC area.

On that note, vaped away at the Cinema Suites AMC last night, after I finished eating, during the movie. I wasn't obnoxious about it, kept the vape exhale downward, and towards my girl friend. (She like's the smell!).. But, during a couple of quiet sequences, I'm sure the guy next to me could hear my Atty crackling! :)

I also don't have a problem with "no vaping" in public areas. When I first started I vaped boldly everywhere. The only thing that stopped me is that I saw kids watching me and felt that they shouldn't really be learning from my example. Smoking is outdoors. Vaping can be done as a stealth or in restrooms if you want to but not around very young kids who should recognize that smoking or vaping is not something that anyone should aspire to do. Bars, Racetracks - fine - but I'd not vape boldly in a McDonalds, Starbucks or Chuck E Cheese.

I'm probably in the minority on my opinion but am kind of sensitive to the fact that kids today are raised to think smoking is bad cause they only see it outside. They shouldn't really be exposed to our habit either. JMHO.

Agreed 100%!

Back in 2009, we evaluated the possibility of opening a "Vape House".. Combination Coffee/Vaping establishment. Even own the domain "Vapehouse.com"... But, the economy was really sluggish (Only positive was commercial coffee equipment was cheap), and didn't find the "Mainstream" Public awareness to vaping was there yet. May re-visit the business opportunity this Spring....

would you really want to be a non vapor and go into a startbucks filled with smoke( vapor)

I see where they are coming from and it seems trashy to have a store full of people vaping away when all you want to do is buy a coffee

I completely agree with this, I believe business should be able to decide this though not government.

Considering that water vapor dissipates almost immediately, does not cling to cloths and it's unlikely that there would be a majority of patrons vaping at the same time, this is just a "straw man" arguement". Vaping openly but respectfully is the logical position.

Well I was told they did not allow vaping in their business. I don't know if that was just the local or if S don't allow it in any of their stores. Can anyone comment on this?
