That's where I got mine, Hoosier. I had emailed Brent cause they only worked on 1 of my KGO's, but after I jiggled the center post they both worked fine. If I go from the stardust to a carto or atty, I have to rejiggle the posts, which is odd. Not sure if he got a funky batch or not, but just a heads up in case yours don't vape right outta the box
I am crazy about the newer color Stardusts, and have been alternating about 4 of them throughout the past month on KGO batteries. (These are what I refer to as V2: metal pips in the middle, short wicks, and LR, like 2.1-2.4?) My hub vaped one to death for two weeks straight; I then cleaned that one and gave him a second one for backup. The next day he hands me one of his KGO batteries and tells me the battery doesn't work. I'm like what the?? Our KGO sets were only a month old, and I hadn't had any trouble with my two. So I take his battery, slap one of my Stardusts on it, and of course it works just great.
So that is why your post in particular interested me. It turned out that only that one Stardust V2, which was heavily vaped and not cleaned for two weeks, WILL still fire great (after one cleaning two weeks ago) on any of our old Ego batts, but not on the KGO. And not one of the 5 or so I've been vaping with for a month have had that problem.
When you say 'jiggled the center post', can you clarify whether you are talking about the battery, or the Stardust? I think you are talking battery, but I have never messed with my KGO's and with no dismantling, there is nothing there to jiggle

Just wanted to be sure what the solution was in case that ever happens to me. But in our case, it has so far been an issue with one Stardust V2 LR only, so I assumed it was a just a slight defect with that one Stardust, and didn't have anything to do with the batteries.
I have of course read many comments recently from folks switching to V2 short-wick Stardusts who say they are not fond of the short wicks. But I am not sure long wicks, especially the multiple long ones in the upcoming V3, will be the cure-all. Maybe they will be a big improvement, but they could have their own issues. I've read several threads around the web talking about why the short thicker wicks may work better. The only example I can find at the moment is a UK thread, re short vs long wicks, that I just saw tonight:
Upgraded Vision Clearomizer (Version 2) $4.5/pc
The first thing I thought when I saw the V3's was.... yuck, all those wicks look ugly, like a mop (ha!) And then I thought, how much juice are these cartos gonna hold when there's all that mass of wick in there? Ah, but if you could vape them until they were almost empty, and did not have to hold them mostly horizontally, that would be a big improvement. But until we get some actual evidence of them performing better by real users, I'm going to hold off on getting too excited about them

In one thread, a store owner stated that the short wick Stardusts performed better in his opinion; but all his customers were clamoring for longer wicks, so they were going to start offering them too.
We absolutely love the short wick Stardusts, with the colors, and the metal pip inside. The short version is - only 3 dry hits in a month of vaping 4 of them, when I let the fluid get too low, consistent flavor, love the draw, don't have to do long inhales for good throat hit or vapor, blissfully quiet, NO LEAKING, fast & easy filling with a bottle, no juice in the mouth, can chain vape with no issues, and they do not get hot - plus they look fantastic! I left out easy to clean and dry burn, but we only do it every week or so; still using our original 6 for over a month of heavy vaping. If these new 'mop' types perform even better, that would be great!
