zenesis thing looks nice but quite pricey. i'm leary of things like that because if something goes wrong you are kind of stuck. but rebuildable would surely fix half of the issues I have.
lol that's why i am getting this thing... there is nothing that can go wrong. i am getting very sick of china quality control. no wires, solder, or buttons= a mod that will survive me
I had one Stardust that had truly died so thought to try out changing the wick per the Russian video and.... I did it! I changed a wick!
I used an old CE2 wick and repurposed the coil so its not the thick wick and the ohms are reading 3.1 but it works. Makes me more confident to do this in the future and prolong the life of a Stardust. The hardest part is getting the inner core out and when reassembling making sure one coil wire is inside the inner silicon ring and one outside. Still, worth it!
BTW, pulling the tank off is a lot easier than I thought.
So I take it that it is necessary to pull out the inner core?
