I started vaping just about two months ago. Like quite a few people here, I was surprised at how easy it was for me to leave the cigarettes alone. This forum has taught me a LOT, and I appreciate all the input I have gotten from everybody here.

I'm starting to get a little discouraged though. I started with an eGo starter kit that had two 650mah batteries. For starters, at this point, they have been my most reliable pieces of equipment, and I still use them. About two weeks after I bought the first kit, I went back to the B & M and bought a VV battery. The damned thing acts like it doesn't want to work anymore. It's not even 2 months old. I had purchased 2 VV batteries a few days after the first one. They NEVER worked. I wound up with 2 more. Thank goodness they worked!

Maybe I've just tried to move too fast. I purchased a iTaste MVP2. I felt like I needed more taste. I bought a Kanger Aero tank to go with the MVP. Well, today, I finally decided to give it a whirl. I figured that I would try the CE Clear 30 tank that came with it for starters to figure out how it all works out. The damned tank has leaked all over the place. BEAST!!

Now I have to clean up everything......hope I didn't fry the device and start over. Now I have to start dealing with replacement coils and stuff. I'm feeling so agitated and aggravated today that I could grab the first cigarette that comes my way. I DO NOT want to do that!! To top all that off, I'm trying to get ready to go back on a 7 day work hitch and have everything that I need to stay off the cigarettes!! I am trying SO hard to remain cool, calm and collected and keep my behind right in this chair and NOT go out to buy a pack of cigarettes!!

I completely understand where you're coming from, after a few months of vaping I started wondering if it was all worth it. I eventually thought it wasn't and gave in to the temptation. Believe me you will be more upset with yourself in the long run if you go back than you are right now.

I think it's important for all vapors that are moving up, to move up slowly to other devices. that was my problem. The more advanced a set up is the more things can go wrong, and the more it stops feeling worth it to constantly have issues. Once you do go up, keep your older stuff ready...There are times now where i go back to my two small ego batteries and EVODs because it's simpler and not as frustrating.

Hope that helps

Smoking was so easy, pull one out of the pack and spark it, breathing was the tough part.

I struggled too Rotowoman, vaping wasn't easy but it tasted great and my breathing improved.

Not to offend 30 tanks but they always were a problem for me and everything changed when I move to Kangers and rebuilding RTA's. I could build several and they lasted me the week. The MVP will be good to you, it's an excellent PV.

You'll work through it, stay strong in the long run it's worth it.

Maybe take a ride back to the B&M and see if there is someone that can show you how to build. Kayfuns, Taifuns and Lemo's (and others) are great systems but they are a little larger so you might not like the size. They do produce great flavor, vapor and overall are less hassle once you learn how to use them because they hold more liquid.

It's not as easy as smoking and sometimes it will just piss you off. I just bought a Squape clone that I really liked and it was a huge PITA. You'll be ok, it just takes a little longer to find your sweet spot and one day everything will fall into place.

Hang in there Roto. there are gonna be days like this but you have made some wonderful progress. I am sure your MVP will be fine since the connector is sealed. Just clean it up and it should still work like a champ.

I had a leaky aero tank too but it was my own fault. The coil loosened up when I took the bottom off to refill and I forget to check it before I put it back together. I learned from that mishap to check to be sure it is good and tight each time now.

The mvp is a damn good bit of kit, I use mine all day every day, never seen the power drop yet, sounds like your getting more frustrated with the toppers, next time your at your local store pick up an aspire et-s, (try and get one with the updated bvc coil) they are really good yet simple to use and maintain and work beautifully with the mvp2, I have a few of them and I love them (I use them for my all day flavours) a good quality clearomiser will make a world of difference,
I would normally point you in the direction of a nautilus as they are even better, but they are a little more giddily and that's not something you need right now, keep at it, once you have the gear to suit you it becomes so much more satisfying!

when i switched over to vaping 6 days ago... well.. i started to look into vaping much longer, i pick the set up that will almost never fail. mech mod. nothing really can go wrong as long as i understand the ohm law and learn how to build coils. 6 days off cig and i'm feeling whole lot better.

hang in there and use what ever works until you figure out the new setup.

She's still cleaning the mess from the CE Clear 30 Tank! My kid gave me one he got from "Global market" which I guess is another Chinese manufacturer. Even though he said it was the best thing since he was born. I found the leak right away. :(

When screwing the top on to the bottom section I found I had to put a 'dab' of 'juice' on the silicone gasket (felt more like good old fashioned 'rubber' to me) and then join the two halves and when it seemed 'seated' give it just a TINY additional tightening. Even then if I filled to capacity it sometimes leaked; so, I short-filled.

In the end - those freaking WICKS drove me to drink and sent it to the recycle folks so I would NEVER become frustrated with it again. Heck - the kid didn't even want it back, so I believe he too had leaks and just wanted it GONE - so he passed it off to the old guy!

That AEROTANK should do a fine job though; not TOO tight from the factory and worked well.

I have found my Aspire K1 tanks to be very enjoyable. They do not have adjustable air flow, but they will work fine on your MVP 2. I don't think they are meant for use on your ego battery though. I have 3 of these K1 tanks. I like them better than my ET-S. One tank leaked on me, because I let it get a little too low. I also used it on an Ego battery, and later I read that was a no no. I have the MVP 2.0, and the iStick. I use both. When one is being used, the other can be charging. I have a few tanks, so I don't have to worry about changing juice out. The K1 doesn't hold a lot of juice, but I like the air flow, and it works good for me. I think it is the best of the cheaper tanks I've tried so far. It would be better if the air flow was adjustable, but it isn't. The air flow for me is fine. Why not try one, and see what you think? I use about 4.8 watts on the iStick, and usually 8 watts on the MVP 2. Some juices need a little higher or a tad lower setting, in my opinion. I just started e cigs on Oct 31st, so I am still quite the newbie too. Good luck with whatever you decide. I know it can get aggravating. That is one reason I kept going to better stuff. It is more enjoyable for me. But if it is frustrating for you, take it down a notch, until you are more comfortable with it. I say the K1, and the MVP 2 work very well together. The Nautilus Mini has been very good on that MVP 2 as well.

Hang in there I'm sure everybody on here has a story or two like yours I know I do...... I found the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.... go back to the B & Ms where you got the defective batteries and see if they will do an exchange for you...... I know all the ones I go to take real good care of me and I am happy with all except for one and I only go there cause they have everything........ if I could find another one that has everything like they do I would stay away from them

One thing I learned in my early vaping days is that you can't take a hard pull on a clearo like you do a cigarette. Try lighter, longer pulls. And I bet they stop leaking :)

roxynoodle is SO right, most people who are just in to vaping think you hit it like a cig. My draws take between 3 to 5 seconds. Go slower then you think. I got so much flooding before I learned the "slow and low" way.

You will find your way. Hang in there! :2cool:
