After almost two weeks of being on this forum and googling, and messing around with my mini vivi nova, I think I'm starting to get the hang of things. Waiting for next paycheck to order some more equipment. I need another battery, just have the one. And I am loving the vivi nova. Will need another of those I think, and some extra heads. I don't think I'm ready to get in to anything deeper, and don't know how I feel about dripping, haven't tried that. I wish I knew more vapers than I do, so I could see some of it in action instead of having to figure it out on my own.

I'm new as well and all I can say is you tube. Ive been watching alot of grimmgreen videos on there and he's very informative. I myself are a visual person so check it out. Cant hurt anything. I'm still waiting for my ego twist vivi nova in the mail and he already gave me the confidence to order some atty's and dry dripping.
Sounds like you're doing great dukeslady. There is a lot to learn, but doing it one item at a time and really learning its intricacies before moving on to something else makes it a lot easier. And always know you can ask anything on here and someone will help out.
The VN is looking good to me too. I got my first one last week and am liking it so far, but still not really familiar with it. If you don't already know how to clean it including dong a dry burn, do a search on here or Google and check out a video or two.

I did my first dry burn with the Stardust clearo. A friend of mine turned me on vaping by picking up an ego passthrough battery (probably 650, not sure) and a startdust. I wanted to change flavors so I googled how to clean it. Actually, I had to google just to find out what it was called, lol. My husband is not so patiently waiting for his to come in the mail. He's quit smoking several times, but I was never successful. When I lit a cig and put it out immediatly because it tasted SOOOO AWFUL, he decided he wanted one too.
Right now I have one head from my VN soaking in vodka (something I came across on google as well) to clean it from the Fire and Ice juice I was using while I try out a new flavor.

The first helps to understand the volts to ohms ratio in vaping the xl spread sheet will do that calculations and the pdf shows some coil info. The PDF is a work in progress.

I'm about 7 weeks into vaping. For starters I bought a 3.5 Nova tank & began vaping Fire&Ice thru it & was told the high cinnamon content could adversely affect the plastic tank, which it did. The plastic became quite cloudy & I'm told it could also crack & become unusable. There are many reports of this on this site. I switched to a metal sleeve (like $4) 7 it works fine, just can't see the juice. I still use the plastic sleeve for less strong juices. Good Luck !
I vape a lot of cinnamon (R.I.P. first mini nova), but I didn't want a metal sleeve because I couldn't see the juice. I saw the Neptune (a.k.a. Vision STV Vivi Nova) last night and thought "Oh Cool!" Then I read the description. The clear part is PC (polycarbonate), which is incompatible with cinnamon (and quite a few other e-liquids). It makes no sense to me that they didn't use polypropylene, since I think many people use the metal tanks because of the melting problems with the plastic ones.

No problem. I was seriously bummed. I have glass & polypro tanks, but I was looking for something smaller for when I go out.
Oh darn...I got really excited for a second there - looked really cool at first glance!
