Ive heard that steeping nicotine in heat is not good. can anyone confirm or deny. That is the reason i havnt used the heated function on mine yet.

Just picked up this one in an auction on eBay: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?index=0&sbk=1&nav=SEARCH&itemId=161026958595
Took it for a test drive on my crazy tobacco mix. Gave it an hour at 100 F. The juice definitely tasted mixed, but not really mature. I am optimistic more time will work wonders.
If your really going to pack the UC full with juice give it some extra time maybe 5 - 6 hours should do it. Keep the water warm to about 125F. It should be ready for Saturday.
Hi vikky,
I used to use 100ml plastic bottles but switched to glass after I read this:

I believe the bag, even more so than plastic bottles, might neutralize the effects of the cleaner. If your bottle caps are screwed on tight, and you rubber band 'em together so they don't tip over, you're not going to get any of the water from the cleaner in the bottles and "contaminate" the e-liquid.

... What sort of glass containers do you use bobalex?
These were suggested to me by bunnomatic and if I lived Stateside I'd go here:
E-Juice Glass & Plastic Bottles
I found some 120ml blue bottles near me up here in Canada but it cost a bit more.
I get my 15 and 30ml bottles from "Specialty Bottles" so next time I place an order with them I'll tack on some big 125ml bottles too, just for mixing and US Speed-Steeping. Thanks!

A question for the UC vets. The water in my UC gets warm even if I keep the heat function off. Is this normal?
Interesting, i did some testing with a shaker machine (100hz as opposed to ultrasonic frequencies) a while ago and found the results to be.. different. After 10 hours in the shaker the juices didnt taste like freshly made nor steeped nor anything in between but a whole other variation of the flavor. I find it great for fruit flavors because it makes them really bright, not so much on tobacco or sweet flavors. Got to get my hands on an ultrasonic thingy to see how that compares.
just ordered one of these > Household Digital Compact Lid Design Ultrasonic Sterilization Cleaner | eBay
I hope it's not horrible. it's cheap so probably not amazing, but I figured it'd be worth it to experiment with
It looks like my first UC. It did the job but mine had a 3 minute cycle. There was a whole lot of turning it on again and again and again ...
