I'm sure heat is good for neither the nicotine or the UC's motor.
Mowgli my unit heats it's own water and keeps it at a constant temp

I started DIY for the cost savings just hoping to make something I could live with but I've actually been very happy with my mixes, just not the waiting. ... Mixing juice once a month instead of staggering the bottles every week to keep em steeped is priceless ...
Here is my take on Speed Steeping....
I have tried a number of things to quick steep juice.
I may have cut it down to about 2 to 3 weeks time.... but,, nothing is a proper substitute for time.
Proper Steeping I have found just can't be hastened.
Just wanted to thank you for posting that seller. A closer look shows The GB928 1L(another you recommended) is $9 cheaper from that seller than the GB928 that interested me another member posted(can't recall who) Looks like a nicely powered unit without heat which I decided I don't really need once adding heated water to begin with. The other seller states it has 1400ml capacity which is closer to 1.5L? Only wished it was bigger but it seems like the best option for the price I have found thanks to everyone here. This is the one I ended up buying:
NEW 2 5L Stainless Steel Commercial Ultrasonic Cleaner W Timer Heater Jewelry | eBay
It's pretty awesome and worth the cash IMHO... but I use it for other stuff too
That's a pretty small vial at 3.5ml, you'd better get a lot of them.I suggest to use 1 dram Glass vials.
Buy on eBay for cheapest price and super fast delivery.
I found that using plastic bottles takes way more time to UC.
Also you can easily clean glass...not so if plastic.
Glass is the key for really fast steeping.
Cheers
