I was just thinking of you, Danny. I have copied some or your RY4 recipes. Copied them down on paper...for future use - not copied them in the mixing bowl...

I suggest that you be one of the blind taste testers. I really would not know the difference between a "good" batch and a less than good one...

I would be happy to. I was actually one of the blind taste testers for that oak barrel brew experiment a few months back. Just PM me when your ready and I'll give you my address.

Will just need an unsteeped mix for my baseline then the steeped samples. 3 - 5ml of each would be fine.

The Double ry4 would be the most common and hardest to steep. It needs a good 4 -5 weeks. Follow this recipe with it.

Base = your choice

DRY4 7%
Caramel = 2%
Cream (Baverian, sweet cream, Deluce de leche), really any cream will do) 2%

I have none of those flavors personally, I will post my flavor list when I get home.

While I am shipping... How about Caramel TFA Flavor, and Catalan Cream Flavor (FA)? I have these in the standard 8ml WL bottles I will donate to our science project.

the Caramel TFA Flavor will work well at 1%, and Catalan Cream Flavor will work very well at 2%. Dry4 is very sweet as it is so adding to much caramel will make it taste candyish at 2% so I suggest 1% caramel.

As much as I'd like to ... it's kinda problematic. Health Canada is as weird as the FDA is and it takes 10-13 days for stuff to arrive in the mail. By the time I get it, if it gets through, the results would have been in for days.

No idea at all. You have to understand though that everybody else has done all the heavy lifting on this thing. I'm just a lazy impatient guy who happened to have a cheap-o UC I bought to clean cartos ... unsuccessfully. My juice supply was way low, I didn't want to wait around a month for my DIY juice to ripen, I saw the UC in the dark closet where the juice was steeping and thought ... Hey ...

Actually that's better yet and still I recommend 2% on the cream and 1% on the caramel.

I am about to be guilty of this phenomenon. Tomorrow, when I sober up, I am going to contact Wizard Labs and order this stuff brand new. I'll have it sent directly to Mike in Virginia. I have these flavorings, but that's the problem: somebody did something to the blank before the test.

This may add a few days to the shipping time, but it will make for more defensible results. I remember that Columbo always protected the "chain of evidence".

WL isn't currently at the top of their game. They have the banner up saying nic orders will be delayed. What they don't say is non-nic orders are also delayed. I placed an order for some TFA flavorings and beakers that were all in stock 2 days ago, hasn't been shipped yet.

As I read his post, these are for shipping the blind test samples to testers. I bet he will mix the entire batch in glass, and split this into three glass containers for the "processes".
