There's room for both of them in the market, and more besides. :D

If the FDA doesn't screw a good thing up, there will be more and more. There is some really top notch gear that is already out and more to come (ZNA please) and there will soon be a semovar in my rotation.

I've managed to slow myself down to a slow crawl and now look for unique, one-of-a-kind stuff that no one else has.

Haven't found much, mind you, and have bought even less than that, but it's keeping me from getting daily deliveries of giant piles of crap I probably won't use.

It would seem that thrasher has some experience with the semovar. So Thrash (nevermind the shorthand version of your handle that brings to mind bad@$$ visions of top hats and shredding guitars) this Semovar. How is she? I'm really debating getting one based on what I've read so far. Keeping in mind my love for my provari. Is she as BA as I'm thinking?

which they already have, i dont think any company will ever match provapes level without a lot of cash, but Svoe mesto stepped up to the plate rather quickly when the bug was found and didnt raise one question for anyone that returned the unit. the one week thing isnt fair as there is a slight difference between sending something to Washington state and Europe.

While provape has the benefit of past tense when it comes to proving themselves it really isnt fair the way everyone condemns companies before they have a chance to do the same, the semovar is now in its 3rd revision and they actually make changes based on what people are asking for with each new model.

this is not a new mod just a new model with a 2 year history of quality as well and very well established across the pond ( it is just new to US cbased customers). I fell in love with rev2 when i started vaping over 1 1/2 years ago. it's about time US vendors and customers were exposed to some more of what is really out there and not just the old tried and true.

the quality of the provari can never be denied, but their reluctance to give customers features that they want cant be ignored either.

When did I condemn anything about the Semovar in my post? I thought I complimented the device more than anything. I even noted I was considering buying one.

I simply asked questions based on Ref taking exception to my post. I seriously have no idea where that response came from. Sorry if you didn't like the questions, but that doesn't make them invalid or unfair in any way.

Semovar doesn't have to match ProVari to get me to buy one, but they do have to show me something.

I don't remember much before the age of 3 so '87 is where I come in. If my 1980 midnight blue t-top Z28 camaro with the slap shift was any indication of what it was like I was born a good decade too late.

About two decades actually. The world has definitely changed during my time here, but I guess each generation says that.

But about these mods im debating it's really ye' olde battle of id vs superego. ADD loves the shiny playful steampunk. Super ego says if it's compared to the provari it must have some serious staying power.
I like the steampunk because it's INTERESTING.

A lot of folks who were at Monterey Pop and SOL67 don't remember 1967 either (or '68 or '69, etc). ;)
