Yes this process really was a surprise. I mean.. I keep reading stories (your stories) of quitting and I was like.. naw... how can that be? I was giving myself much longer than the few weeks I've started this. I know.. right? only a few weeks of doing this. My son reminded me this morning that I was approaching a week without smelling bad. While my other son says you smell like an air freshener... 
The things kids say! I guess I rather smell like an air freshener than smoke. Now I have a vision in my head of being one of those cardboard air fresheners that we once dangled from our rear view mirror in our cars.
But yet.. here I am.. in two weeks of starting this process.. cigarettes being a thing of the past. It is just astounding! amazing! Like some secret weapon that needs to be shouted from the rooftops.
You bet I will tell my friends about this. I am meeting with a very good friend of mine this weekend and she has no idea I quit. she's a pretty heavy smoker herself. So we will see how that goes. I've definitely had people come to me asking about vaping, there does seem to be a interest in it here in AZ!
