Stinky Pee?

Maybe this is a bit personal for some but I'm pretty open & comfortable talking about nearly anything.

Mom mentioned she had a foul smell to her urine, embarrassed to go in public restrooms. Nothing else, no buring or blood, etc.

Husband mentioned he too had a foul odor when he went, "Ever since I started using e-cigs." he said.

I've had a raunchy odor myself, but I chalked it up to B vitamins and sweating all day at work.


Yeah, we're all on the same brands/flavors of e-liquid. Could this be the culprit?

I dunno anything strong I eat is clearly noticible odor-wise in my pee. Nothing odd from the vaping though. Could be a sign of a bit of dehydration maybe?

I also would look into the dehydration issue. The less water intake the stronger (in color and odor) the urine will be. Unless--- asparagus is being consumed?

If all 3 of you have it..the liquid could be the problem. Give a new liquid a chance for a little while and see if it works to cure the problem. More water can never hurt!
Also..are you guys eating the same food?

If it was a medical issue, I highly doubt all 3 of you would have it at the same time! Oder in the urine is usually due to protein in the urine..a medical issue normally associated with diabetes and kidney problems.

I'll second the dehydration issue. It's hard for me to tell personally 'cause I take a LOT of vitimns and those b's make it smell pretty weird.

I can't possibly be dehydrated. I drink so much water (I have 20 oz bottles that I refill several, several times per day) in a day my pee is utterly clear! Mom is the same way although husband drinks nothing but Pepsi...

b complex can make your pee smell weird. mine smelled weird when i began taking them (before e-cigs). I stopped taking b vits and no smell. I started taking b vits again--there it is. Only now with e cigs it lasts all day & is a bit more pungent
