Dan,
Have to make sure I have batteries before I end up with a gripper in hand with none.
Are the batteries for sale at GV the correct ones for this unit? They are both 18650 so I assume they are the same physical size. One is Sanyo 2600 mah and the other is JoyTech 2200 mah. Would one or the other matter? I assume life span would be the only difference.
Also a lot's been said on the net concerning "protected" and un-protected" batteries. Safety seems to be a big concern with multi battery devices. I am assuming protected batteries have some built in overload safety but I may be wrong. All I know is I keep seeing those words. Probably would be a good idea for you to add that to your site battery descriptions.

The Gripper will have an oled screen with simple operation, buttons are dedicated to changing voltage only in increments from 3.0 to 6.0 by +/- .1. It is solidly made, new item from SMOKtech looks very similar to our old gripper. Takes 18650 batteries. It comes in a presentation box with manual but no batteries. Also 5 click on/off.

Yeah...knuckleheads in color!!!! No one has the colored ones! (They come in yellow too Briar)

Well, the original vendor to design the knucklehead style has colors and marbled ones. They're flipping expensive though at $9-$16. They call them Blasters, though. I've been eyeing them for a while if only for the coolness factor. Some people said that this style is good for cartos that tend to spit at you because you can just rotate it and vape that way with no juice in your mouth. I don't have that problem since I use the BC Phoenixes, but I remember how bad the Vision Extremes and Stone tanks were about that.

Those are pretty cool but functionality wise how are they? Id be worried they would break easier on a drop or knock over of the PV.

I have a black Blaster and it works pretty well, especially on "spitty" attys & cartos, and it's nice to be able to rotate and angle the mouthpiece if you're reclined on the couch or something.

As far as breakage I wouldn't worry too much as once you get the slightest amount of normal condensation in it the ball spins very freely. Too freely if you ask me as sometimes it's like trying to use a straw when you're not looking and it keeps moving on you when it bumps your lip, but that's just my opinion.
