I'm surprised you can vape an Aspire BVC (non-nautilus) coil at 10-12W.

I'm gonna send you a PM soon but have to gather some links.

Also according to a couple of articles I read, the Zenith and the Zlide take the same exact coils

I've been running the small BVCs at 10-12w for years too. They're fine for me.

Hey Unc (@UncleJunkle )- this is one of those coils. I've got that BB set to 11.5 right now (never higher than 12 though). I've done the same with Cerotanks, STMs, and older BBs too.

NO idea if this is worth anything but I'm waiting for someone to reply to an email so I'm wasting time. :D

My neighbor has done the same for several years, too. He vapes usually at 10-11W, depending on which eliquid he's using in the tank. He says some taste better at 10, others at 11.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Crazy. Maybe the the older ones were different? Of course, IIRC, back then I was vaping sweeter juices at higher nic strengths. 7-8W was the highest I could go and didn't last that long. I'll try them someday soon to see how high I can go on them with my current juices. I have a a few left. I use an RBA on all my Aspire BVC clearos.

A look through most vaping sites clearance sections will yield a plethora of cheap mods - stick to those that are no longer 'fashionable' and you'll pick them up for pennies... The only difference i can see between an older device and a brand new one is either a new gimmick or a change in design. Most times the actual electronics are virtually the same.
So you have to ask yourself - do i want to vape for cheap or do i want to vape stylishly ?!!
I have enough mods/RBAs to last me until i croak, the majority bought for around the cost of one or two packs of cigarettes.
Nicotine is the key - stick a couple of litres in the freezer. Now.

Yes, AND there were a lot of clones that hit the market too.

The older ones had smaller holes in them (even the authentic ones), and they would have some challenges with certain juices, particularly ones high in VG. My juices all run between 20-35% VG (TOPS), so they're handled with relative ease.

And electronics manufactured a year or three earlier that may thus bite the dust a year or three sooner.
No???
No.
If stored in a cool dry place, why would they?
Because electronics degrade over time, even in ideal conditions.
The electronics in regulated mods are always on, watching for clicks of the fire button & storing settings & such, drawing power to do that from some form of battery. They're aging & wearing down & dying slowly.
Please correct me if i'm wrong about this. i'd love to be wrong about it.

What am I supposed to say... I have no money. Stocked up a few coils and pods... have a few RTAs and RDAs, cotton and rayon. Running out of "drop-in coils" (and refuse to buy more) Make my own juice (DIY) and that's nice. Right now, I need more nic (I am screwed... one 150 ml bottle of 100 mg... that's all I have) Well... you asked. My strategy is... get by with what I have.

You have posted the exact thing on another thread. You also brag about how much stuff other folks send you. Also said just the other day that you bought your drop in coils and flavors etc. You got the same $600 everyone else did. Maybe you should buy some nic,

Cool. Another are you done stocking up thread :thumb:.
I was going to pose my original question in the AYDSU thread but thought that the question was specific enough to justify a separate thread. Now it is going in different directions. Maybe I should ask a moderator to close this one.
