Strange Question about urination

OK, this may sound weird. I have been vaping for about a week and have not smoked in 5 days, and my habit was 3 ppd. Now my wife has her starter kit. She is on day 2 after a 1-2 ppd habit. My wife says that she is urinating (...... if you prefer) a lot...and now I'm beginning to think I am as well. I have noticed dry mouth at night. Now this may be caused by the pg, or drinking more, or smoking cessation, or just our imagination. Has anyone else had this experience.

vaping causing dehydration so dry mouth seems normal. and since you're dehydrated, the water's gotta go somewhere so you're probably ...... it out. my unexpert opinion.

Don't panic drink water!! Seriously though, it will dehydrate you and it's more noticeable at first. Just drink lots of water, Gatorade is great.

yes low calorie gatorade or powerade zero. avoid regular powerade at all costs though as its loaded with HFCS. gross.

We pee less when dehydrated. When we vape we are pulling water from our mouths and lungs and exhaling it. When I began vaping I was terribly dehydrated all the time, not ...... enough, and when I did it was way dark. I do go a lot now because I am constantly drinking something.

If this continues with my wife...should I consider VG...would that help? Maybe it's all just temporary.

I would actually think it is a good thing, flushing those toxins right out!

Since you do lose water to the vapor, you are most likely drinking more as well, and the excess is flushing out the garbage. Keep up the good work with those kidneys!

Grimwald it is not a reaction to PG, it is a normal thing we all go through. Many of us wheren't drinking enough water to start with throw vaping into the mix and suddenly you find you are drinking a lot more. As another poster said it has to go somewhere.

And what poison is the Powerade Zero loaded with?

So you are saying we need to replenish our electrolytes cuz of all the sweating we do while vaping?

powerade zero has sucralose as the sweetener. it might not be perfect but its a heck of a lot better than hfcs, plus you only need a tiny fraction of the amt since its much sweeter. no i dont imagine youll be doing much sweating while vaping but its got 4 electrolytes and 3 b-vitamins. its pretty healthy besides the coloring. you may not need the electrolytes or b-vitamins but they dont hurt. plus some ppl get sick of plain old water.

one 32oz bottle of powerade contains 56g of sugar, 100% of it derived from HFCS.

Just get an empty 3 liter soda bottle for your drainage needs....problem solved. Never leave the couch. Or get a lot of houseplants

I am exhausted, I can't sleep for ...... all nite long. I can't get any work done for ...... so much! I wasted less time at the office when I took real smoke breaks!

I'm not worried yet, and I don't think y'all should be either. I never did drink enough water before vaping so this is a big adjustment for me.

I'm just gonna keep an eye on this and give my dr. a call if I were to notice anything alarming, but I certainly don't anticipate that.

Funny you should ask, it will be 2 months tomorrow for both DH and I both *YAY* us!

I think we're the lucky kind of vapers, we started on this and never looked back. We've each bummed the occasional one from a friend, but we never felt the temptation. We are in our late 40's and have each smoked over a PAD for 20+ years, so we really feel this is a miracle!

I get terrible dry mouth at night, partly due to vaping in bed while watching TV, partly due to medications I take at night that also cause dry mouth. I carry a large water bottle around with me everywhere I go to help with the dehydration from both. I haven't noticed more frequent urination, though.

ive been 5x as much water as usual since i started using ecigs. i guess thats a good thing because water is very good for you. stay away from powerade zero though because it isnt willy approved

I know that I'm still not getting enough water (can hardly believe that) cos my lips are really chapped. *argh*. I'm gonna have to start setting alarms thru the nite to get up and drink water (and pee!)

I just turned 60...and she's much much younger (58)...and we have been smoking since college...let's see 60-18 carry the one...that's 42 years...less the last 5 days.
