Well, the requirement for a dual 18650 is going to affect the mod's size just because of the size of two 18650 batteries.

And you should define what you consider "best". To me, a mod that utilizes the DNA chipset falls into the "best" category.

And if your definition of "best" means the most physically durable dual battery mod then you must consider the Geekvape Aegis Legend. Waterproof, shockproof, and dustproof.

I’d say pretty much any dual 18650 device will get you 80 watts plus headroom. In fact, many single 2x700 devices would also achieve that power and may come in a smaller form factor.

As for the best…owning both the Triade and Legend my biased opinion agrees 110% with @Baditude

But the reality is the best device is the one that caters to you the most, not someone else.

I purchased the Eleaf Invoke earlier this year because I liked the small size of it. Is the Invoke still the best "small" mod out or is there something better out now? Looking for something that can go up to at least 80 watts and dual 18650.

Thank you! :)
Invoke. Hands down every time. Good quality, cheap, great electronics.

take a look around this thread if you are looking for a little device: Little itty bitty mods under $100. though I'm not sure how many dual battery mods are listed there....
I'm loving my aegis legend
the evic vtc dual was nice because you could chose to use single or dual batteries

The only thing about paranormal - paint on that pretty metal will chip off! Otherwise, best mod out there.
And why would I hide such a pretty mode behind ugly silicon?
My post was simply a response to your comment about pretty metal chipping off from daily wear and tear. It was a solution to your issue, nothing more.

I've used silicone sleeves and vinyl wraps to protect the surface of my mods. They work extremely well. In fact, I like the improved tactile surface the sleeves and wraps provide. I prefer the faux leather grain surface of the wraps.

I agree the Lost Vape mods are extremely attractive. I saw my daughter's BF's Paranormal first hand a couple of weeks ago.

The sleeve would be great for when taking it out of the house if someone is worried about the paint. Take it off at home.

I personally take a Legend out and about and enjoy the slightly more expensive mods at home.

The Paranormal by LV are attractive looking and functioning mods (DNA chips are the best out there today, IMO), I have several and enjoy them much, a bit pricey and may be difficult to find depending on where you are located, and how long you are willing to wait. I used one extensively on a trip to Asia last year and did notice some lost of color and shine on the panels though and would agree that it may be something you would like to use indoors. The protective sleeve is an option but then you can't show it's beauty.
The Legend is an extremely durable mod and have those too. Have yet to use them extensively outdoors but will soon. Priced much lower, and comes with a very good Tank.
If a small mod is your preference, then neither one fits the bill. Both have some size and weight to them. There are many out there that will fit the bill with your requirements, but as mentioned before, if "best" is defined as durable and chipset, then the Legend and Paranormal are among the "best", IMO.
