I’ve been lurking and vaping and vaping and lurking and I noticed in the picture of your setup thread no one has those band things on their atomizers to protect them. Do you guys not use those or are you taking them off for the picture?

I don't use them. I tried them for a bit but found them too much bother.

I use to use them till about a year ago when I forced one on a bubble glass and it shattered in my hand.

I never used them until I broke a bubble glass tank. Not sure if they really prevent glass breakage during an impact. I decided I didn't like the look and removed it.

I'm another one who doesn't use them, even though over the years I've broken a few glasses, I just never liked the look of them.

I use one on a Freemax Mesh Pro. The top slides for the ability to fill from above. The problem is that the top slides, hence the use of a vape band. Looks ridiculous but was the only way the top wouldn't slide, by keeping the band around the top and the glass.

I don't use those Atomizer Bands/Guards. I think they're kinda Funky Looking. And see them like walking around with your Cell Phone wrapped in Bubble Wrap.

But they Might give one some level of protection. So if that is what one wants, Go For It.

I’ve got one on my aromamizer plus, but only because it came with one and it’s a whole lot of glass. I have nothing against them though. If I happened to have one that fit my berserker mini I might use it. I don’t though.

I use them on the few sub-ohm tanks I use. Except bubble glass. They keep sliding off and are a pain in the rear. Otherwise I drank the cool aid and think they might save my glass if I drop my setup.

Are these bands only for sub tanks, cause I never really see them on mtl tanks like kayfuns, etc. I dont use them , they ruin the looks of my perdy tanks

It was a big thing for tanks back in 2014/15. Juice and hardware dealers used to send them out with merchandise as a freebee. You can still find em if you search for vape bands.

Actually kinda nice to hold onto while disassembling. I'm sure they have better colors and designs on Amazon or eBay.

I use them on my sub ohm tanks or RTAs that don’t have a bubble glass.my roommate uses them on all her sub ohm tanks as well. I gave her a handful of them I bought on amazon. Some even glow in the dark lol!!
