OK I think I get it - re-read Badguy's carto tank blog. No need for low resistance, and one hole is fine for my 50/50 juices.

Now, does anyone have a discount code for IBtanked? Thinking about getting a backup tank there.

Also, is the tank tool/drip tip at IBtanked the same as the Big Daddy Slap Yo Mama tool? It's certainly more reasonably priced... https://www.ibtanked.com/accessorie...chrome-anodized-refilling-drip-tip-186-detail

I'm not aware of IBTanked ever having coupons, but I could be wrong. As far as the tool, it's designed to be used like the SYM.

Badguy? :glare::blink: Who's that?

IBTanked doesn't presently use discount codes, although the website design does look like they could utilize them at some point in the future.

The tank tool/drip tip will function as it is meant to. IMO, it's not as user friendly as the Slap Yo Moma tool. I like it even less as a drip tip. But having said that OCD makes the best pyrex tanks for the money that you can find. Even though his tank tool is inexpensive, I do wish he offered a better quality one.

OCD said that he hopes to have a video demonstrating how to use the tank tool for the website in the upcoming future. In the meantime, you can view PBusardo's demo of the Slap Yo Moma tool. That Badguy has a link to that video in his cartotank setup blog.

They can also watch my Hot Swap video and get a general idea... Badguy

LOL sorry about the Badguy reference - it's a nickname from a poker forum I belong to. Obv Baditude is a way cooler nickname ;o)

OK so don't buy the tank tool from IBtanked... Is there something it doesn't do that the Slap Yo Mama tool does? Or is it just that the shape/make/weight make it not perform as well?
Your cool, no problem. Plus I think you are cute, so that's a plus.

You'll get that tank tool for free if you order a complete tank kit, along with the Thingy to fiddle with.

Yes, you guessed right about the difference between the two tools in question. It's rare that you can find a combination tool that works well for more than one purpose, and IBTanked's tool falls into that category IMO. Like I said, it will do what its supposed to. I had a SYM tool way before OCD offered his tool, I tried it once, and decided I much preferred the SYM. You'd have to try both to understand. If I lost my SYM tool but still had OCD's tool, I'd still purchase a replacement SYM tool. I like it that much more.

And I have many more drip tips that are nicer than the tool to use as a drip tip. It's not a useless piece of equipment, but I have other drip tips or tank tool that work better as a tank tool or drip tip.

i really enjoy a simple carto punched with a good carto punch like the ones they sell at VIP, its expensive but pays for itself . Clean small holes, hardly any distortion.

If it wasnt for the fact that enjoy NET tobaccos and got tired of going thru 3-5 cartos a day, I would have stayed with them. I love all the great tanks to choose from and once I got a kicked device the experience was even better. All the problems I had with lack of flow etc, went away when I was able to dial in my kick at 7.5 - 8 watts. Perfect taste , tons of clouds etc. I set up my brother in law with the same set up and man he makes clouds that were so large and thick I could not see his face.

I got into rebuildables to save some money, because like I said NET tobaccos just clog up the coils in any device , but on a cartomizer its just way too fast. I tried Vivi Novas, pains, T2 kangers, got tired of burned taste or having to swish and of course the leaks, etc.

I still enjoy them and have a tank filled and ready to use to change up flavours. I cant imaging any other being more simple to set up and go, no leaks, no fiddle. only thing easier would be to light up and puff.

Anavid, I remember I was on the Notify list over at gr modders for the new Kir Fanis Carto Punchers and when they were back in stock I ordered 2 of them for damn near 40-50 bucks. Weeks later, by the time they arrived I had discovered the wonderful world of bottom juice feeders! Now they are paperweights pretty much. I'll probably donate them or sell them down the line. Same with my Phiniac.

How about these tanks, Bad and Ocelot?

Sidewinder 7ml Pyrex Tank

I have a VVV polypro economy tank. It's not the prettiest thing in the world, but I use it more than any of my other tanks. The fill screw is really easy. The only drawback to mine is that it has grommets, instead of caps, so putting in a new carto can be a pain. The sidewinder has caps though, so you won't run into that problem.

It's cute in purple... and they make it in glass. Might try it out.

Ray, the owner, has a very active thread in the supplier section and runs a contest every week. I won my tank about a year ago and it's still going strong - never leaked or anything. I think it looks kind of dorky though, especially on Bobo.

Ray is awesome, he used to punch AND TEST his own cartos to sell (I remember hearing about it from baditude's vendor list) and for a time I bought all my pre-punched cartos from vvv, but then he stopped doing that (probably because it was a pain in the ....) and they switched to laser cut ones.
