I'm still having wicking issues. My wick is roughly 1 inch long, and gently poked down into the base, and I've switched from 30g to 34g wire, which helps, but it's still not quite what I think it should be.

Are you perhaps wrapping the wire too tightly on the wick?
And if your using the supplied wick try another type of silica.

Here's what I worked the problem out to be. If you tuck the wick down and put too sharp a bend in the silica by the terminal it won't wick. Tuck the wick from the loose end and avoid kinking the wick. Started with a dry wick, filled the tank, and after a few light silica tasting vapes, I'm getting nice vapor so I think that means it's wicking...

This method will also give you wick ends that sort of arch up and have the ends dipping into the side pockets next to the channels.

It is a different vape then gennies for sure, longer drags and higher ohm seems to work better for me now. Need to tinker some more to see if I can go in the lower ohm range. Variables have to all match. For now I use 2 mm ekowool, tripple folded, 30 AWG, 4 wraps and it is 1.5 ohm. No dry hits what so ever. Will use this setup for a little while and then dive into the lower ohm range to find a good setup that can keep up with the heat.

I'm running a 3mm regular silica tripled over with 30 gauge kanthal for 1.5 ohms. The loops on the wick are just long enough to dip into the side chambers where the juice channels are---working fantasitc in my mini right now after some initial priming by covering the air hole and sucking. seems to be working even better after having sit overnight. Looking forward to getting some ekowool in from cloud nine to try out.

I'm getting dry hits :( There doesn't seem to be any pressure equalization. If I unscrew the cap a little and let bubbles come up it will work as expected for a little, then back to dry hits.

Stiffen the draw with the adjuster screw...you must be too airy.

Remember the adjustment screw doesnt retain its setting if you carry it around, got to readjust from time-to-time
