The thread was quite dead, and I didn't really have anything new to say regarding the KF4.

I seem to have overcome my dry hits issue by just adding water to thin down my juice.

My black ones are real nice and don't even get scratched. Over 6 months old and still look new.

Me too. I have the Black Russian-91 (group buy from KeboTech), I thread extremely cautious with it.

I have two of these. When I saw a speckle of black paint (???) inside the e-liquid, twice, I took pause. They are now both set aside...

There is no black that touches the liquid on the Tobeco KF4 clones. If it did, i would not use it. I love my black one.

How goes the Erlk for you?

I want to modify it for more air flow, but I don't want to risk messing it up. Planning on buying a clone to mutilate first, just haven't got around to it. If it responds well to more airflow, then I'll probably like/use it more than the K4. (more juice, equal flavor, easier maintenance, and lighter weight)

I really don't care for the looks of the Erlk, and I have a feeling that's the reason I'm dragging my feet on the modifications. Plus, I hate plastic tanks, and no way a Erlk glass tank would survive me long, and I think the metal tank is really ugly, but I'm sure that's what I'll end up with, especially since I'm TC all the way now.

Ha - I got a nano clone and glass tank - lasted literally 3 seconds, then cracked.
I seem to knock it over several times a day.
So I'm glad for the poly tanks!

Every pot and pan in my kitchen is black, and they go in the dishwasher!...and then I eat out of them!!! (ever wash your hands with that stuff? It's harsh, to say the least.)

I have a black Tobeco clone and have had no issues in months. I also have black Ehpro KFL+v2's and no issues with them either.
