Sweetener Question

Ok folks, so i have sweetener that i bought with my flavourings to make my own juice. I make 10ml bottles at 6mg and 20% flavouring. How much sweetener do i add to make it sweet? Like what % would you suggest?

I'm no expert, but all the posts I've seen point to using a few drops per 10ml. Apparently, a little sweetener goes a long way.

Depends of the Sweetener. And it Depends How Sweet you want it. What Type of Sweetener are you Using?

BTW - Not sure if the Recipes you are making are "Final" workups or if you are just Starting Out? But 20% Flavoring is on the High End of the Scale for a Total Flavoring Percentage.

If it's sucralose probably one drop. If it's Ethyl maltol its two drops for every 10 mL. A bit of advice on sucralose, it's very very very sweet stuff. it can overpower your flavor if you get overexcited with the dropper. Just my two cents from your friendly neighborhood chemist.

Good Point about Pure Sucralose being Very Sweet.

As something to mention. People should Only use Sucralose Sweeteners that contain NO Bulking Agents of Fillers.

Also, adding Sucralose does Not need any "Steeping" time. Just Add, Shake and vape. Whereas adding EM Does.

You can find Both, usually, wherever you buy DIY Flavorings for e-Liquids.

Which one is Better? That's asking which Beer is Better. Depends on what you like.

I Like Sweet. So for me, Sucralose is Better. Because you can Only go so Far with Ethyl Maltol. And for me, that Wasn't far Enough.

I use 20% because i have a hard time tasting ejuice, i guess my taste buds are fudged i dunno. And the sweetener im using id from DSV, i couldnt tell you which type it is tho, i only bought it because i heard it can make juices better

Thanks zoiDman. Unfortunately, I live in the great white north and although we have a small vape shop, their stock is limited to some devices and imported pre-prepared e-juice. I'll check if they can bring in some Sucralose, otherwise I'm relegated to mail order.
