Very new Prodigy user .. What is this ?? 1 x PCB Protected 18650 Batt (Rated: 3.7v - 2200mAh)
* To be used with Prodigy 3.7v Version (Switch without resistor)
The prodigy originally came at 5v, 2 3.0v batteries with a resistor making it 5 volts.

Another iteration of the prodigy offered a switch without a resistor, so you can either use 2 3.0v batteries with it, and get 6 v power, or use 1 3.7v battery with it, and get 3.7v power. Its up to you which one you get. Most have the switch with resistor, and use 2 3v batteries to give their prodigy 5v output.

Hope this helps.

I had actually taken a pic to do some troubleshooting with Casey. The blue thingy is the resistor:

I'm 99.999% sure I have the resistor... I didn't take the switch out completely but I see 2 wires connecting to "something." Do I need to take it out all the way? I'm one of these people who always have 1 or 2 screws left over after taking something apart and putting it back together. I learned that from my father-he would just throw them away and whatever it was still worked. I was his own very "special" magic.
