Yes I'm from Switzerland and proud to dilapidate all your money in gambling !!! LOL
No way but I'm from that beautiful country for sure.
So the point is I recently got an e-cig and I was tossing around my usual tobacco seller and also showed him how it worked. He was quite impressed and also mildly annoyed by it :p
But yesterday he told me he'd read this year 2009 new legislation for tobacco resellers in switzerland and he told me it was forbidden to get e-cigarette things in switzerland. So I got worried but not so much because the man often plays games with me (we know each other pretty well as I was a 10 years Camel smokers lol). But later at work one of my colleague told me he received an e-mail from Intellicig.com (because I've gave him the adress to order it since he'd find it incredible) that said "e-cigarettes is not a product that switzerland allows sell or buy" :O my god I'll wait since I need to re-buy e-cig stuff and let you know if it reveals positive or not but I'm quite scared actually *puffs on it's 36mg Camel+Hilton mix with an horrified face* :p

I remember a few Swiss people becoming members of this board about a year ago (maybe 10 months or so) - and at that time allready this Swiss ban existed. So it isn't anything new I think (no less disturbing and irritating of course!).

What at least one of those members did, was to ask a friend just outside of the swiss border to act as 'mailbox' accepting his orders. Not sure if he would then go get it himself, or if the mail-reciever made a personal unmarked package out of what he recieved and then sent it on into switzerland; but it did reach the end-user that way.

I don't know if this could be a solution for you of course, doing it this way; but hopefully it could be?

hi guys - my first post in this forum but been reading you for quite some time, best forum on e-cigs for sure.
just to update, since 12th may 2009 switzerland officially authorized e-cigs for personal use, anyone can order/buy for his own use (limited to 40 cartiges per person in import) i.e. online orders (less than 40 cartiges) will not anymore be stopped by customs.

the industrial imports for retail sale is still being restricted subject to "swissmedic" approval to be asked by makers/resllers and subject to analysis of the product. as far as i know, no seller has applied yet.

cannt paste the link of the official advise because i'm a new user, but will do as soon as i have more than 15 posts..
