Going to be ordering one of these hopefully soon. The dna60 version. Anyone have a recommendations of the best rebuildable for flavor? I know it comes with the kanger style. I also have access to a vape shell style and an Exocet style. Wondering which of these has the best flavor. Not into huge showy clouds. Just like the best flavor possible. Thanks.

Others will be able to comment further. I have tried the Kanger sub-tank (the one that comes in the kit) RBA and the vapeshell and they both have good flavour. The vapeshell might just have the edge but hardly notice it really...

I've got the exocet and the insider but haven't tried them yet.

A lot of people recommend the euc ceramic coils for flavour also....gonna try those shortly too.

I'll comment when I know more :)

Depends if doing MTL or DL, if MTL, then I say vapeshell as comes with the air reducers, and personally I find it the easiest to wick without leaking, but I think all the rebuildables for the BB are pretty good, and for the prices for the clones, can try them all without spending a ton.

Hmm I honestly don’t know how I vape. I’ve never really thought about it. I guess somewhat between the two. Not just directly into my lungs but not purely into my mouth before I inhale. So I dunno. They’re cheap enough so I guess I’ll just grab them all and see what works for me. Just hate fiddling with things forever to get it right with a new setup.

With your type of draw the vapeshell is going to be a good starter for you as it comes with inserts to restrict the flow. Without the inserts it is a slightly restricted direct lung so you'll probably need one of the inserts....

Point being that you can probably find your sweet spot with this RBA.

I just ordered my setup yesterday. The only one I don’t have coming is the insider which I didn’t see for sale anywhere. Anything special about that one as opposed to the vape shell or exocet?

No not really....I think it's quite an open draw/restricted dl but again you can get inserts for it. The original comes with two chimney types and there is also another version specifically for mtl vapors :)

Oh ok. So I’m not missing out if I don’t find one. I think I’ll be fine with what I have coming. Looking forward to it. Barely got back into vaping a month or so ago after being away awhile. It’s crazy how far along we’ve come since 2010 when I first started and how some devices seem to stand the rest of time far better than others.

I started with a joye 510. Man what a hassle that was and I thought it was great lol. Moved up to a riva. This was back when mods were made in someone’s garage and you had to be on a waitlist for months to even get something cool. Very happy it’s progressed to where it has. I’ve had a couple billet boxes in the past. One of the old dial style and dna 60 without the USB port. Ended up having to sell them due to financial issues so I’m happy to have one on the way. Too bad it had to come all the way from Canada but hey that’s the breaks.

Ok so...I had a few days of vaping bliss and now it is leaking again. Not too bad, just leaking. The glass is in all the way, the square oring is sitting flush. I dunno. Not worth all the fiddling around, if this keeps up.
Question-can the leaking be due to the build or the amount of wicking? I figured it could not because the atomizer is all encapsulated and all

It’s possible since the atomizers have airflow running from the bottom. So if not built correctly they could leak through the bottom of the tank. Never had one leak on me so couldn’t exactly say what it might be.

Hi Chanelvaps I agree with Bill it could be your build. I haven't had any problems with the tried and tested wicking methods gleaned from youtube so maybe watch a few of those if you think that might be it.

Another thing it could be is a damaged square seal on the tank. Check for kinks in the as they will cause the glass to lift.

It is a known problem that they can leak without the correct wicking technique so that ones more likely IMO. What RBA are you using?

I am using the enclosed Kanger RBA

I find that wicking the Kanger RBA is one of the easiest to get right. Just pull a snug lenght of cotton through the coil, fold the cotton up into "rabbit ears", install the barrel with the cotton sticking straight up and out the top. Clip the cotton even with the top of the barrel and push the ends into either side of the RBA.

Never had a leak using this method, so it may be a seal issue on your tank.

Personally, my biggest gripe with the BB is getting the glass on without bunching the red gasket. It seems near impossible for me to get the glass completely installed without kinking the stupid red rectangle.

Other than lubing the gasket with juice, is there a secret to getting the glass on without the gasket jumping out of the groove in the tank?

It's such a pain that it makes me wonder if it is just an issue with the SXK tanks or if the authentic boro tanks are just as difficult.

I really only watch the Geekay vapes videos and they've all worked for me

    He's a hack.

I stopped watching his reviews after I read his article on "Top Sqounk Mods" where he said this about the REOs squonk mod:

"…you get nothing close to the features, quality or reliability as any of the other mods in this list…"

And that was comparing the REOs mod to some truly crappy mods, like the Kanger Dripbox, without ever having held a REOs mod in his hands.

You can dislike something, and have an opinion but that is just blatantly false, and coming from somebody who never even used a REO.

To his credit he did remove the Reo, and comments from the list.
