Anyone know where to get a SXK 510 nut?
A while back,gsmit1 said he contacted SXK through FB and got a few,but here recently he said they weren't responding to another message he had sent them.May be worth a try though.

Yay,finally got my SXK Vapesnail today.I paid extra for "Expedited" shipping haha, and it still took 28 days to get here, but i guess that's better than my regular orders from China that have averaged 2 months here lately.
So far,i'm very happy with it though.I was expecting to not like it,since it seems very similar to the Vapeshell, which i don't care for,but the snail is great.I don't have any inserts, and wide open it is a very loose rdl, borderline dl,perfect for the way i vape.
Another Yay haha.My red BB shipped last Friday,5/15,and it already cleared customs and moved on to a sort facility today.Says Estimated delivery Tuesday 5/26,but i'm not holding my breath,i'm expecting probably 5/28,since my last one said expected on a Tuesday and didn't get here until that Thursday, but even then,i can live with that, way faster than if i'd ordered it from China right now.

This is correct. I'm glad I grabbed them when I did. NObody answers from China anymore except in the ticket systems for the vendor sites.

Actually it was the FB messenger for the Bantam Box site where I sent a message asking about 510 keys. The guy answered right away even though it was 2 in the morning over there.

He said he could give me 5 for a dollar each, but he would have to send them DHL and if I wanted them right away he wanted me to put the money in his personal PayPal account.

Sounded sketchy to me, but I really wanted them and it was just this side of how much I wasn't willing to risk.

I gave him the money. He said he'd send them out in the morning. No tracking. He told me they would get there as soon as DHL got them there. I wasn't all that hopeful.

6 days later they showed up here in Detroit :D

I guess nobody else needed to know anything about it and just keep it off of the books. :)

I don't know, but when I tried to get him to send me some firing switches, he never got back to me after several attempts. There's a couple other people I've talked to over there, including one very nice young lady who is the co-founder of the company that makes the Riscle mods and RDA's. She sold me a hard to find RDA.

We chatted a few times after that, just about life in our different countries and the language issues and so on. Her English is quite good.

Once the virus thing hit full swing, she doesn't answer anymore either. I thought well she lives in Shenzen and they can get anything, she might be willing to find me some SXK firing switches. No answer.

I think she's just afraid to talk to somebody in the states at the moment. They are under constant surveillance and have no rights to privacy like we do.

Say the wrong thing and they show up at your door.

Good Vapemail week this week.Got my SXK Vapesnail and the gasket for my Boxxer V2 from Odis. These are by far my 2 favorite bridges. The Flow V2 and Xeta are both very good as well, but for me,the Boxxer just can't be beat, especially now that i can use it without it leaking all over haha.

I must say after changing the screws on the vapesnail, to wider flathead screws, I was able to used 24g wire. With the right amount of trimmed cotton, I must say I'm having an amazing vape out this atty....

How much you want for the boxxer 2?...lol

Loving it... who ever thought that one can enjoy, such a low ohm build on the BB box. I cant belive I'm getting a pleasantly good warm ( not hot) vape with this build. Getting good vaper production and more then normal clouds..

I haven't tried any 24g,i can see where those stock screws would be an issue though.I'm running a 26/38 clapton in mine, that fit with the stock screws, but any bigger,i think i would of had issues.
The right amount of wick is crucial in this thing haha.My first build in it went very nice, for about an hour, then the whole mod was soaked in juice behind the panels on both sides,it dumped the whole tank. After i rewicked,it's been doing great for a couple days now,i must of cut the tails just a bit too thin the first time.

Haha,ya might be able to get the Boxxer from me if you pry it from my cold dead hands haha.
They are getting very hard to find, but if your on Fb,a few pop up every once in a while in some of the various BB groups. That's how i found mine,i was reading through posts in one of the groups i'm in,and the guy posted it while i was reading,so i jumped as soon as i seen it,got it for $50 with cracked glass.
I siliconed the glass together just to use it until i found replacement glass, ended up getting unbreakables, but it leaked horribly with them, then after a while the "fixed" glass started leaking,so it got shelved for a while.Apparently the gasket had gotten nicked when the glass broke,so i finally bought the new gasket, and back to vape heaven haha.
Another option,Odis Design has the gold Boxxer on Presale for $89,he just posted in his Fb group yesterday, they should ship in about 8 weeks.I've been searching for a while for a 2nd one,so i think i may do the preorder on that one.

SXK BB 1.3mm Allen Keys:
FT- $2.28 5PCS SXK Stainless Steel Allen Key for Billet Box Mod Kit 5-pack at FastTech - Free Shipping
3F- https://www.3fvape.com/vape-tools/44389-sxk-internal-hexagonal-wrench-allen-wrench-tool-kit-for-sxk-bb-70w-dna-60w-style-box-mod-kit-silver-stainless-steel-5-pcs.html

Edit: I just realized the Xeta allen key can be used for the BB screws, that allen key measures 1.2 to 1.25mm, they're probably meant to be 1.3mm like the BB screws but they're undersized due to poor QA tolerances I guess, the chances are these cheap ones from FT/3F are undersized also... All ok if you don't over tighten them.. In the past I've been using a T5...

The problem with Odis is you never know when the product will ship if memory serves me the Boxxer V2 took over a year, delay after delay. If is by far my favorite for the BB and your are right they are becoming much more scarce
Yeah,i can definitely agree on the shipping part.My order from him earlier this month, was just a gasket and a couple plastic lenses,i ordered on 5/4,and didn't ship until 5/21.I figure since the Boxxer has already been in production though, and this new one is just a color change,he may be somewhat accurate on the eta, maybe. For a while,he said he wasn't sure when it'd be ready, but just a few days ago at least claims 8 weeks now.

Hi everyone, thinking of buying a SXK billet box but have heard some horror stories of needing to strip them down to insulate the chip, screen, cables etc as they are not insulated as standard from condensation or leaks,my question is has anyone had any problems with these issues ? ,thanks in advance all

What? Oh God no! Sure maybe for those non-DNA ones. As those boards doesn't have a protective coating while DNA ones does. The DNA doesn't coat the switches or the external wire connections for obvious reasons. So there is very little worry even if juice does someday just gets in there.

Now some people are super freaked out and go through the process of sealing virtually everything. Sure, if you want to bother, go knock yourself out. But I have four of them and I never did a thing to them. Three of them never had a single leak ever. Condensation was a problem in the beginning and I bought all of those plugs and stuff. But you don't need them and frankly, they kind of make the back of the tank wetter. What worked fabulous was those JMK tips. Now everything is now virtually bone dry stock. But you don't need them really either.

Now the one that constantly leaked, something was wrong with the tank. It was tight as a drum and then in the middle of the night, it would unload 5ml of juice all over the place. BB was soaked in juice. Wiped everything down (I didn't take it apart or anything) and worked like a champ. Happened about 10 more times before I kicked that tank to the curb. No problems since. That BB never quit working even after all of those leaks.
