I ordered a couple Xetas too. 3F got them to the US in 2 days(airmail), but after they cleared customs they've been sitting in Compton, CA for 5 days and haven't moved. Tracking at 17Track shows "DN SEND". Anybody know what that means and when these things will make it to USPS? I could have driven to Compton and back twice from Phoenix already lol.Vapemail tease!

Funny thing I got a couple Vapesnails coming as well (probably be to LAX tommorow). At least the Xetas won't get lonely.

Reading through this thread from beginning to end I picked up a few things.

All the talk awhile back about the Xeta piqued my interest so I jumped at getting one.

I honestly like it a little more than the Snail. My first build is a simple SS @ .3. Flavor is very nice. Getting it in the boro was a wee bit challenging.

May have to dial AF back a bit. Was worried I'd screw up the wicking, but no crackling or dry hits yet.

I meant to quote this in the above post. I'll let you know what I think of the Xetas and Snails if they ever get here ha ha. Keep using my Exocets until then.

Yes you would likely blow the chip on the USB board. As those two wires are for the data on the USB. Did you click on the line below for instructions?

Try checking any loose screws or connectors on the base itself

The USB board, the three wires on top. White goes to 15, red goes to 14, and black goes to 13 on the DNA board. The thick black goes to 10 and the thick red goes to 9. 11 and 12 on the DNA board isn't used.

Hi all,

First time poster here having lurked for a while.

Ive just ordered the sxk dna bb, can someone confirm if the threading is now the same as the authentic.

Would for example, a koncio tip fit?

The SXK bb's have a different threading than the authentics. I retapped mine to match the authentic. If you decide to you want to switch it, just pick up a 1/2 x 20 tap (amazon has them). Very easy job.

Assume you cleaned it well when you got it to remove manufacturing oil from it. Other than loose screws as posted, I'll let you know how mine work when I get them.

So I just received some vape mail today.

Got my Xetas today (more on that later) but also a couple integrated drip tips. So I built a Xeta with one of the .62 Wotofo Ni coils shown in the pic and screwed in one of the drip tips. Was showing 1.08 ohm. Put in another boro with a known good Exocet build that normally runs .68. Same thing, 1.22 this time. Cleaned the new integrated drip tip with alcohol and a toothbrush. Both attys all normal now. So another suggestion might be to thoroughly clean your lock nut and all threads associated with it. Gl.

So as to the Xetas (SXK). Fit and finish was perfect. I actually experienced no difficulties getting the 2 new units into 2 brand new SXK boros. Lubed the o rings as normal and found they actually seem to go in easier than my SXK Exocets. The build is pretty tight though for 3mm. Danger close room upon installation but got them in without too much hassle.

I'm running mine wide open, no inserts. Draw to me feels like a slightly restricted DL but still a vast improvement over the Exocet. Flavor seems much better though and vapor is off the charts! The Ni coils ramp up much quicker than A1. At 22w and 350 degrees these things are awesome.

2 weeks order to door from 3F. For $22 each I would definitely pull the trigger on a couple of these if you are on the fence.

Another note for the Vapesnail crowd. Vapes by Enushi (Canada) has the Atmizoo o ring Sets that include the condensation plugs. Think they were about $14 USD. The cotton plugs are about $6 for a 10 pack. Shipping will still run you $12 but they should get here quicker than delivery from Greece, just sayin'. I ordered 2 of each for my incoming Snails. $52 and they shipped next day.
