SXK Billet box...

Whelp. I've decided (almost) to go for the SXK dna, instead of authentic. Although it's still a hard decision spending that much on clones from FT. It's a total of $275 AU for a bb, extra boro, xeta, clear doors, and a button. With DHL because I can't handle those postage times. Just the authentic bb is almost $500 AU shipped, without anything else.

My main concern is reliability and durability/quality. I'm sure it'll work, and everyone says it's perfectly good.

The reason it's a hard choice and why I was considering the authentic is I'm a minimal device kind of guy. I have one big mod, and one pod for stealth and high nic. This would be my big mod if all goes well. I'm not too interested in buying several down the road, I've done that with other attys etc and they don't get used. I only want to buy the one bb and have some spare parts and tanks. And have the one for as long as possible and not have it break easy. Being a clone this may or may not happen. It may or may not happen with the authentic too. But I feel the authentic would be just that little bit better. But MONEY.

I'm thinking about this too much, I know.

and I probably wouldn't bother with the $30usd DHL, the free Australia Express is pretty quick, not much different to DHL..

on the durability front...i just dropped my sxk DNA60 from 5 feet onto solid, industrial, flooring.
it is completely unscathed. the battery-side panel popped off but the paint, frame, button, drip tip, boro, boro glass and bridge are just as they were before my pocket decided to eject it from its interior.

Although,this post is very funny,i gotta say i can kinda relate to him.A few months ago when i got my first one,i loved it for the first few days,then got very aggravated with it,because no matter how i built any of the rebuildables i had,it would dry hit,then i switched to a few different coil heads,most tasted nasty,so i got to the point i hated it too,and hated the fact i had spent a bunch of money on something that i now hated haha.
I hated it enough that i made a trade with gsmit1 for another type of mod,and then i was happy,for about 2 days haha.Then i regretted not giving the BB a fair chance,then i hated that i had gotten rid of it,so i started over again from scratch,and this time it worked out for me,i'll have SXK BB number 3 headed my way when the orange starts shipping,so i better not get to hating it again,there's a whole lot more money to lose now haha.

Even though it was a fair trade and you knew going in that the Paranormal 250C wasn't exactly your style, I was still a little bummed that you couldn't use it. That really is a great mod in it's class. At least you got something good for you for it.

Oh yeah,i didn't mean it like that,very fair trade and i knew i was getting into territory i hadn't been in for a long time,it definitely worked out though,since i got a very nice sqounk mod that i would of never been able to buy, from that mod i got from you,and now i'm back in the BB game haha,so it actually worked out really well.

If you read posts from these threads you'll notice that regular members are candid and honest.

I was just yanking the chain of a new member who pops into a device appreciation thread and makes a vague statement about dislike.

I can see where you are coming from though, the RBAs are a PiTA for me, so I just flip between the ceramic or mesh coil heads for a great vape.

I did really like that mod,i just knew it would never get used after trying it out for a few days.Even then,it wasn't the mod,it was going back to rta's,they really aren't my thing,if i could of squeezed a squonk bottle into that Paranormal,it would still be here haha.

The Xeta is the first rba i haven't had issues with,so i was happy to finally find one i can be satisfied with.Before getting it,i intended to stick with coil heads,and found that the Kanger SSOCC heads work pretty good for me,so i started stocking up on them,but my last Ft order,i seen some Atlantis coils that have a clapton coil in them,and decided to grab a pack to try,they are fantastic.I have around 30 Kanger coils now,but just ordered another 30 of these Atlantis coils,and plan to grab at least 30 more haha.I liked the EC-M coils with some juices,but my main juice i vape 95% of the time tasted way off with them,so i never bought any more of those ones.
I figure since i have a 2nd Xeta on the way as well as a 3rd BB,i'll run the Xeta's in 2 and run these Atlantis coils in the other one.

That's what I've been hearing. Thanks guys. It's just that there was apparently a run of YFTK Exocets that were terrible. I've never heard anything really bad about SXK stuff except from hardcore anti-clone folks.

This is several people now telling me that the YFTK Xeta is a fine 1:1 clone.
