I saw the internal plate kits, but I don't want to spend 25 or 30 bucks when all I want is a couple spare keys for like 2 or 3 dollars apiece. :)

A guy sold me an authentic and it doesn't fit my SXK. However, I have a JMK naval brass hybrid tip made for the authentic that does fit my SXK.

Somebody told me that JMK tips are the only ones that fit both. I don't know. I wish I could get it settled once and for all. All I want are a couple spare keys. You wouldn't think that's asking so much :D
Welcome to the rabbit hole :D

To be fair even if the og stuff is sold singly it still isn't super cheap. One way of dealing with all this is to just get yourself a leather sleeve for your BB so that you don't feel tempted to accessorise with things you'll never see anyway.

I already have more accessories than will fit my boxes

I'm not worried about how it looks. I just want a couple spares in case I lose one or something.

SXK sells spare boros, a-tanks, glass, buttons all for a few bucks. It's killing me that they don't sell spare keys.

:cool::D:w00t::thumb::thumbs:
Well that's a result.....good for you

Out of interest....can you give me the email contact or whatever you used to get through to sxk please? The only place I know of is FB.

They're good guys though. My request earlier this year that they make the gold panels was certainly listened to and actioned on :)

Listed on FT today, $2.29 ... probably better off paying the $4.35 for a whole tank...

Actually it was the BANTAM BOX GROUP

They were very responsive and accommodating.

Still trying to master the DNA60 chip.
I am on the standard preset for SS (temp control)- When I press the fire button- almost right away the screen shows OFF instead of a temperature. It still sounds like the unit is firing.
Am I correct to assume the temp has been hit and in fact the power has been cut to the coail? If so just wondering why the coil can keep firing for at least 3 to 5 seconds (probably longer). Or does the chip just pulse power to stay below the temp?

It has gone into power mode when you see "OFF", it will fire at the set watts during that time.

There is something wrong with your build or connection to cause OFF to show under TC.

Nope, just a bit when you slide the glass back up were the glass was.

Absolutely. :)

Same here for the other three.

Yes. Although I think I figured it out.

I have seen this a lot. So it isn't something I worry about. But I just noticed the other 3 BB condensation plugs this doesn't happen. Just this one. I also caught this just once and you had to have the angle in the light just right to see it. Plus it was so thin it seemed to evaporate in a minute in this next pic.

So hopefully this ends the mystery. ;)
Guys! Cut a piece of thin microfiber cloth and set it on the bottom of the boro tank. I use those used on optics or photography. It sucks condensation like crazy and cuts down the seeping everywhere else. I rarely have to put more. Works every time.

If you try to use a Kanger RBA Mini with the Boro tank, you are going to run into this.

The pin on the RBA is too short. SXK RBA is virtually identical except it has a longer pin. Atmistique sells a bridge for it and it includes a longer pin.

I know this post is old-ish. But is there a fix for the Kanger bridge not making a connection?

The head on the positive pin of Kanger RBA it a little longer on the Kanger RBA head that comes with the Billet Box. On a stock Kanger RBA head that I purchased I removed the positive pin and built up the end of the pin's head with silver solder.
The Kanger RBA head that comes with the Billet box fits just fine, it's one for the Kanger mini subtank that is too short.

Thanks. When you say at the bottom of the Boro do you mean you kinda scrunch a small piece up and place it under the legs - avoiding the airflow holes and positive pin ? Or do you mean cut a square and lay it flat behind the back of the Boro?
Take the boro out, measure the square where the boro goes in, cut to size, dump it inside, dump the tank, crank the top connector and you're done. I put a plug anyway, but with lighter eliquid is more than enough. At least it works on the BB and the Bantam.
