You guys are a bad influence !

I noticed 3Fvape have 5% off at the moment with code 2019MIDAUTUMN so I ended up blowing another $27.50usd on clear panels for the Bantam and BB ;(

I'm not into "bling" but I notice they have stainless parts now also, they're cheaper than the gold but they don't include a top 510 adapter/key: (FT and 3f should really start selling them separately, and buttons)
Buy SXK Button + Screen Plate + Button Plate Set for SXK BB Box Mod

Buy SXK Button + Button Plate Set for SXK Bantam BB Mini Box Mod Kit

(the machining looks really crap, I hope they're not all like that, lol)
If you like the Bantam plates go for the BB vapes ones. Ships to France OK from Canada.

I've been running vapeshells with 0.5 - 0.7 ohm 3mm claptons for the last month(s) but just yesterday went back to the Insider. Really enjoying it. The flavour's not quite as good but it never goes dry. With the Vapeshell the juice feed holes are so close to the bottom of the boro that thicker juices sometimes don't wick so well. When those bubbles don't come glooping up the front if the glass you know there's trouble coming...
The 'no atomizer' error may mean you need to scew it down a little tighter
I've never had an issue with the vapeshell wicking.... Bizarre.

I haven't rebuilt since I was using an Erlkonigin RTA a few years ago, my eyes have certainly deteriorated a bit since then, might have to look into some glasses soon, damn old age, lol ...

The Crossbow was easy enough to build, just did 10 turns of 0.3mm kanthal, 2mm ID = 1.7ohms, I like it ! .. A lot of throat hit with my 50/50 3mg juice, I might mix up some 70/30 tomorrow to smooth it out.. I LOVE the condensation/airflow plugs that came with the Crossbow, they're just what I needed to gag the BB airflow down to suit my preferred very tight draw...

I bought a set of this lenses with the headgear. They fit on like a pair of glasses and you do look a complete idiot but it's such a a relief to be able to to see again :)

I've always found YFTK products to be quite a bit more expensive than their SXK counterparts and the quality was never any better either.

Has this changed over the past few years?
It just depends. You're are usually safe with both but sometimes one is better than the other especially with RTA clones.... Hope you're doing well my friend :)

I'll never buy an authentic since Doug Dino installs a neutered DNA60. A DNA60 without an USB connection is worthless to me. I really don't care about the internal charging part, just the connection to EScribe. But I don't think Doug really cares. Since he doesn't manufacture enough with the demand he has now.
I've got two authentic now and it doesn't bother me that it won't connect to Escribe. Having said that that though it's the one thing hhe should add because there are always people that want it.

Yeah, wicking is where i had the issues with it.I would either get dry hits or leaks every time i tried it.My last attempt with it was ok,it would start to dry hit if i didn't leave it sit a few minutes between draws.I'm not sure, but i think part of my issues may be from the fact that my juice is 70vg,and like you mention, that the holes are so close to the bottom of the boro.I could be wrong, and it could be all due to the wicking though.
All this difficulty with the vapeshell is weird. I've always just wicked it like Todd does and it's vaped like a champ. I think there's something else going on here. For example it's essential that the two halves are fitted together properly and that you don't turn one around the wrong way. Difficult I know now that FT are selling them without the logo...

I don't think I've seen this discussed on this thread-
what is lowest coil build (ohms) that anyone has had success with, either the Exocet or the Vapeshell, without any wicking issues. ?
I'm currently vaping a 0.8 Clapton Ni. Wicking like a champ and battery last me all day at 25 watts :)

Hello to you BB fans. Been out of circulation for a while due to illness but back on line now :)

Here's a pic of my authentic number 792...ive had it for 2 weeks ish but I haven't built it yet. I'll be interested in a comparison between it and the clones when you all get yours...

Canada Post is so slow to Australia. I paid $30 Canadian for postage on Sept 12 and still no sign of it. Canada Post tracking is "doing some scheduled maintenance right now".:-x

I know it's a bit strange. I didnt have any wicking issues for many builds then they started - only occasionally. Same build, same cotton. Both authentic and clone. Maybe it's s weather thing or maybe I'm going crazy. My plan is to stick with the Insider for another week or so then start from scratch with my vapeshells...unless the Xena arrives first. ;)

I sometimes run 0.045Ω Ni200 26/32 Clapton here in my SXK BBs.

I have certain RTAs (KFs) that cannot wick fast enough for any build under .5-.6 ohms.
Way too many dry hits.
KF manual says don't run KFs lower than that too. And FYI, rayon wicks faster than cotton. Although I am not saying you're better off here.
