Got my m class this morning. Didn't have time to try my first nickel build, so just threw on my Lemo off my Cloupor T6 (first mod).
I like the form factor of the SX (really small), and the way the atomizer fits onto it. It's a lot easier to prime by blocking the holes since there's that little extra space for your fingers to wrap around.
I'm used to seeing the battery as a %, which I kind of like more. Haven't killed the first battery yet, but it's a bit strange -- feel more unsure than with the Cloupor T6.
Since I am using a kanthal build, I'm finding it really weird there's no relative temperature reading. The Cloupor gives me a temperature, I believe at the 510 port. So I know when I hit 38 degrees on it, I need to slow down/take a break. On the SX there's no relative reading, so I just keep going. The only way to tell really is if I touch the atomizer and try to see how hot it is. This is not the ideal way to do this. I guess with TC it wouldn't matter, but for a kathal build I'd use the T6 over the m class unless I'm missing something.
The bottom edge of the SX is pretty sharp. I read they rounded off some corners from the original, but with my medium hand size, the bottom digs in a bit.
Changing watts is a pain in the .... Not really sure how to get into the menu, think something like press 4 times, change temp, switch menu again, go to exit, click again. Kind of a pain. I guess it's mostly avoided with TC once you setup, but a real hassle going around so much menu to make a change. Really difficult to make quick changes.
So...hoping TC is all it's made up to be. It's a nice looking mod but sucks for kanthal builds imo. The T6 does everything better, easier, and faster, and lasts forever with the bigger battery (kanthal). Hopefully I won't have too much problems building a nickel wire. Can't wait to try TC today after work!
Edit: I like the firing modes but atm just using soft mode since I feel "in the dark", using a kanthal build.
