SXmini M Class (TEMP CONTROL)

So I got my all black SX Mini M Class from Vapinart today.
I throw a fresh charged battery in it and my brand new billow v2 and it vapes like a champ. I was quite impressed with how hard it hit at 30 wats with a kanthal build. Then its time to drive to work and I vape the whole way there like I normally do. When I get to work I look at the screen and to my dismay its all messed up and unreadable.
The screen will still rotate, the device is still vapable. If you remove the battery the SX logo comes up clear and then the screen will come up fine for a few secs then go scrambled again. Sometimes its completely scrambled sometimes very small pieces of info are readable.
I'm pretty bummed and have emailed vapinart, hoping to hear from them tomorrow.
I gave Vapinart a call this morning, explained the issue. Guy I spoke to said they need to inspect the device first. I told them I emailed them a pic of the screen. He seemed to have went and checked. I asked if I would have to pay for the shipping. He said he would email me a return label and verified my email. Got the label a few hours later. I will mail it back to them tomorrow. They are closed on the weekends so I probably will not know if I am getting a replacement until next week.
The screen has gotten worse since this pic, everything on the screen is completely unreadable. Re-seating the battery brings up a clear SX logo, then you turn the device on and the screen is perfect for 1 to 2 secs. Everything is clear and legible. Then it immediately looks like alien graffiti.
That's really unfortunate about the screen. I can tell you that I do business with VapinArt. Both my mini's come from them. One had a paint issue, no hassle they replaced it.
They have a great service and are really nice to deal with.

Funny thing is I've seen a very similar screen malfunction on the IPV4 a friend had only for a few days...well at least it is still a SX chip, even if it isn't the SX 350j.
Oh hope my new delivery is ok ... not had time to check it yet

Locked in resistance which is identical to my other M class 0.265
Can feel the difference instantly though with the vape on v1.4
Its not ... how can I describe it ... Giving such a full vape as the update
There is a lower volume of vapour
The update I know hovers closer to the set TP than original so that's my next job today

Your RES sounds very high. Try cleaning the M Class 510 pin as I find if my RES goes strange (vape is muted) a good clean can bring things back. What wire and how many wraps?

Just waiting on the steam tuners spring kit that cures resistance errors
Apparently if you don't use the spring they provide though, when you close the juice control
It breaks the connection to the 510 so an added fail safe from auto firing too when used on my mech

I have six spring tuners I am not even using anymore. I went back to the gold spring and all is fine. The thing that help me with my V4s was lubing not only the O rings, but also the threads. Esp the A section. But you seem to have everything in hand. The only MODS on my V4s now are the S kits. They are performing very well. And my M Class is so predictable now I have had some weeks with it. I think my firmware was messed up and the new one fixed things for me. Happy days!!!

Just got to say, I've got my SXM at 25J/380F Eco, running a Lemo 2 with a .074 ohm 28g 3mm coil (5 wraps), filled with Ripe Vapes VCT (6mg), and it's pure heaven.
I could have just kissed the mail woman today! And 3 days early! 40K+ Joules here we come....
Let us know how those LG HG2 perform. The LG HE4 work pretty well for me, but I'm always up for something better.

Built a nice Ti 26awg 7x wrap at 3mm that came in at 0.326 which matched up on steam engine so must be reading ok
A bit tighter draw than the STM even with the 4s kit but a nice vape on the M Class none the less
Think if Yihi want more of my money, best they bring out a white one next
