Well if it helps, not long ago I didn't know what cerakote was either.

There are some parts in the world where you don't carry or own a gun nor do any gun related maintainance. [emoji14] [emoji14]

Wish I was in Texas so I could carry at least two guns in my waist, one backup on each ankle, two concealed under my arms and maybe another in my back. I would also hire someone to carry the ammunition :D

Tony "wako" Smith would be my name :D

Ok, enough nic for today ;)

Tony

Dammit Tony...
you may have started a war ...
and we're unarmed!!:-x
What war? I envy those guys. The only guys with guns around here are the bad guys (criminals and politicians) and cops which can't fire them anyway or they most certainly go to jail.

It's a waCked world.

Ok, I read the last 5 post cause I don't feel like going back two pages to where I left last time. Is this the sx thread still? it feels like a Chuck Norris movie thread. Or maybe this Heineken had been seating in the fridge for too long...
So do you have news about the sx?

Chuck Norris doesn't need a mod to vape, his stern glare alone vaporizes. ;)

Not really....just having a very difficult time trying to figure out in which order should I raise my hands to my mouth: left hand-really cold Heineken; right hand-warm,dense, flavorful dulce de leche RY4. So tough...

Thank y'all very much!

Another little clue: I've had the same coil in for a couple of weeks. It's consistently read 0.58 ohms until I posted first. The resistance is reading 0.62 now. Maybe it is a short in the making. I'll update the firmware and then contact the authorities.

Appreciate the help!

Having a coil change resistance over that period of time is not unusual.

Locking the resistance, do I have this right?

I lock the resistance on a cool Ni coil so the device knows the baseline Ohmage. If I don't, does it assume the current resistance is the baseline? Or maybe the starting? What does it do if I do nothing?

If I remove it, do I have to relock the resistance? Switch probably, right? What about switching between Ni and Kanthal? Does it just store the last resistance setting?

Thanks in advance! Learning how these thing work is almost as enjoyable as vaping them.

How about the samsung 25R's how are they they don't have quite as high a rating as the HE2 20a continuous.

Last test I looked at the samsungs were running at 95c when at a constant 20amp drain

Forget exactly what else was tested at the time so wont quote batteries but popular high drain & they all ran at over 100c

It will use the last resistance and that could really ruin your vaping experience. Let the coil cool off for about 15 minutes if you fired it recently, and then set resistance.

I will always reset resistance after switching to kanthal and back to nickel. Just better that way and it is less likely to bite you in the ..... :)

how's the menthol Bomb on the sx?

Literally made my teeth ache. I'm still working on my 250mls.

Back to the Charging thing. Installed the update. Get Eco mode. Still got the Charging Battery indicator.

I had that happen once on a phone and it was a pin inside the USB shorting. Have you looked inside your USB port? Liquids, debris, etc can make this happen.

I'm expecting Yihi to put out an update that enables temp limiting with at least Ti wire. They kinda have to if they want to stay in the game. They could even do it as a paid upgrade. $15-$20 isn't unreasonable since they're in this to make money and we wouldn't have to buy a new device.
They have told me they will do Titanium wire but didn't say it would be via a firmware upgrade. I assume it will be though because it's so easy to do. I just hope it's done quick because I've pretty much switched everything to Ti wire.
