I've been lurking here for a while. Just ordered one to see how it compares to a DNA40.

Yes Sir, they do. Actually I don't know if they come in nipple tops all I use are flat tops in everything I have.

At the time I started buying the AWs from Provari the nipple tops usually were associated with non IMR protected batteries. So I just got in the habit of always buying "flat tops".

They do come in button tops.

Look forward to your comparison KTM

I can guess the ending though

Not owning a dna40 mod as was hanging on for a trouble free one .... I ended up waiting so long the M class came out

Am one happy bunny though

Works so well I bought a second & likely wont be getting anything else until Yihi release the SX350 V250 with colour TFT screen :thumb:

Has anyone else had problems getting in touch with Varitube? I have tried to contact them three times over the past few weeks and have gotten no response. I would really like to get in touch with them...my M-Class isn't working properly...

Kenho,

What kind of problems are you having? Maybe we can fix the problem faster than you can get ahold of the vendor.

I have 6 DNA40 mods. 3 I built (2 Cloupor boxes, 1 Hana mini clone box with 18650) and 3 I bought (VS rDNA40, VS DNA40, Hana V4). I've had my rDNA40 the longest (Nov '14) and the only issue I've had with a DNA40 is my Hana V4 where the screen glitches while firing. It resets when you release the fire button and it has no affect on the vape so it's really not an issue. No other issues on any of my DNA40 mods.

I'm definitely getting a DNA200 when it's released (most likely the Vaporshark version) but I know the wait will kill me :)lol:) and Breazy.com has a 30% off site wide sale (code: 30off) so I bought one on impulse. I guess Breazy is in NJ so I got dinged with tax but $150 is still way better than $200. I still don't like Yihi's draconian retail rules (free market and all) so I was hesitant to buy.

I've watched tons of review videos and read up on the mod so I'm well prepared when it shows up. I look forward to playing with it.

Was reading earlier about the 200w vaporshark on their facebook page

The bit that stood out in VS replys to questions was its a little taller than current VS but narrower too

Comments where then being made that a 22mm atty will overhang the sides of the mod

Worth checking out if this would be an issue to a buyer

Meh. Doesn't bother me :D.

I'm more into function over form. What bothers me and why I was building my own was because I couldn't find a mod with a reliable spring loaded 510 in a small form factor and 18650 battery. That's why I got the rDNA40 and recently the DNA40. The Hana V4 is cool but boxy and kinda weird to hold. The fire button is a huge improvement though as is the battery door on the bottom.

A sharkskin will make up the difference on the sides. Same issue with the DNA30 where 22mm atomizers overhang just a bit but perfect when using a sharkskin. Looking at my DNA40 just now, it also has a very slight overhang but looks fine with a sharkskin.

No problems here. I used their Contact Us form and got very quick responses. If you used that form, and if you have an account there, you can log into your account to see if they responded - just in case you missed the email reply.

I posted this yesterday, but it disappeared. If you have the silicone sleeve and are noticing that it likes to creep up the SX Mini here and there, use double sided tape like the kind the ladies use to prevent wardrobe malfunctions. After you put the sleeve on the SX Mini, roll the bottom up over itself like your turning it inside out, and then place one strip of tape on either side of the mod. When you roll the latex back down, you will have that little extra bit of friction you need to hold it nicely in place.

And I've also found my preferred setup finally (at least until my Goblin Mini and Goliath 2 show up and I try them out).

I'm currently running a hybrid Atlantis (V2 base with A-Mod 7ml extension) with the Vapor Shark Nickel Coils at 40J and 450F.

Produced a nice warm voluminous cloud. I'm seriously impressed by the Vapor Shark coils and how well they wick.

I think overall the concept is great. It's just not very pocket friendly

I feel like i just lost some weight (even with an extra battery). That and I don't need a belt anymore to hold up my pants!
60,000 joules....and she's still going...

Yesterday was my day to try TC. This is the future of vaping. Adding coil temp as a variable opens up a whole new world of flavor. You are no longer selecting the good enough wattage. You select the best wattage and temp cutoff and get the best vape.

I'm so exstatic. My juice is tasting great at a higher wattage. Much better then with a kanthal. It's letting me dial in the vape I want, not settle for the best available.

I am getting the buzzing in TC mode with a .16ohm coil. It's just slightly annoying. You only hear it the 1/2 second before the coil heats up.

Going through batteries like crazy. Can I use the purple Efests with this? The ones marked as 35A? I know some say they're overrated.

It's pretty common for most plastics to be less in weight than most metals. That should be expected.
But how could I carry it without it feeling like I had two mods in my pocket?

Keep going your almost to catch me. I'm a little over 80k joules right now on my single but I have the option to top off the battery utilizing the built in USB charger while I vape on my other SXmini m. Works out well since I get vapors tongue and switch flavors / devices regularly anyway. And no need in going off into the primary purpose of the USB I'm fully aware of the warranty of the USB as well as the the risks I'm comfortable in taking with that.

But you cant use the USB charger since it doesn't have a built in balance charger for your series configured batteries, same as with the battery tube extension on the SXmini m.
