TruSound,

I am pretty sure Chrome doesn't rust. Fingerprints probably but a microfiber cloth will take care of that. :2c:

Could be wrong about the rusty chrome, I just seem to remember those rusty chrome car and truck bumpers from back in the day, either way...it's a finish I'd never apply to a mod personally, the reflection will kill ha when the sun hits it.

Well, about 2 weeks ago, I noticed the finish on my black SXMini M was pitting and coming off. I emailed the vendor (Yeti Vape) and YiHi.
When I woke up the next day I had an email from YiHI apologizing for my inconvenience and asking me to make a video of me scratching the paint with my fingernail. I made the video and sent it and a copy of my receipt to them. A few hours later I got a call from Yeti Vape and they explained that they were going to replace the unit with a new one with a different finish. I boxed it up and sent it to them on a Wednesday. That Saturday, I got a notice a package was heading my way. On Monday, I had a new unit in hand.
Where the 'bad' one felt smooth/slick, this one feels a bit rough surfaced, kind of like powder coating. I know it's not, that's the way the new finish feels though.

While I wasn't happy about paying the shipping back, it was nominal (<$6) and I have a brand new unit in the retail box, not some refurb or special 'naked' unit just for replacement use.

I'm well pleased with the response of both YiHi and Yeti Vape. I'm especially happy with the SXMini M!

Shower Head,

That is probably the best customer service story I have ever heard. To you:  To SXmini M:

I just received my SX Mini M with the Black / Black 'rough pebble' finish. The unit came pre-installed with version 2.2 firmware.
Then I discovered that the 510 connector is too large for all but two of my atties. Now, I'm waiting for a response from customer service to resolve this issue. What a bummer!

That sucks Quantum.. I dropped mine from my shirt pocket yesterday on a tile floor but was lucky in only breaking the glass on the Subtank mini. I assume you didn't have the leather case on it at the time?

Yeah no case on it mate, will teach me not to use keys to open a door with mod in same hand

My subtank was unmarked but at least this will stop me worrying about getting scratches on this one now at work

Been fannying about all the time making sure its safe, can now just crack on and get the work done

Our mods are like a new pair of shoes or a new car, once you get that first smudge or dent out of the way it frees up a lot of time spent worrying about the inevitable.
