WelI have noticed the older I get the more i change so maybe my coils are the same.
I'm running 6 STM's with Ti 5wraps spaced 26awg 3mm on nickel mode at like he said 260-280 14J really good flavor and not real warm like I like. I'm really impressed with it. Got 2 weeks on these coils will rewick soon but they seem to taste better after they age for a day or two. I can run it in Ti mode at 460-480 14J and get nearly the same vape so IDK why I just use NI200 mode. Works great flavor every bit as good as nickel not so finnicky, haven't had near the little problems I had with nickel. I really like it. I have one STM with a 1.5ohm coil kanthal on my S class and I can't believe the diff in the taste, WOW so much better with Ti. I can't believe how well my Ti coils are still working just like they were new maybe better.+1 to Yozhik
No issues with running Ti in the Ni200 Profile (@20J & 285*F).
Since I finally listened to those here more Wise and cranking up the Temp to around 480* F, am running it in the Ti Profile with great success as well (at 20-22.5J depending on RTA).
Strangely enough,,, I own 3 STM's and have yet to build on one. Just run the OCC 0.5 kanthals on my 2 Kanger SubBoxes and a Ni200 OCC on the other Tank for TC when doing rebuilds & Tweaking on the EK & L2 Coils or Wicking (my Hole-Card Tank). Gonna pull the Trigger on a EK Clone by WoToFo this weekend so then the L2 will move to "Hole-Tank" Duty freeing up the 3rd STM for building. Then make that one my new juice Flavor Tester as it is easy to disassemble, clean and refill.
On that Subject,,,, REALLY digging on these Mech Sauce Liquids. Amazing Flavor & Combos and at $5 for a 30ml (4 Bottles was $24.95 shipped) a Sweet Deal and Return in my Book. Tried the Empress Milk V2 in the Ti built EK. Pretty good right out the Vape Mail and after 3 days Aging, the 2nd Tank-full is much better than the first. Imagine it will be Nirvana after week to 10 days. Gonna load the L2 up with the Waterhog Flavor this morning and take it for a spin. Big hopes as luv me some Melon juice and have yet to find one that is Outstanding.
This just might be The One. Enough typing,,,, time to Lock & Load the Melon Cannon and throw some Clouds down Range. Fire In The Hole!
On Sundays, we ain't "bored",,,,

Best of Luck in that "Free Ti Contest"
I feel assured you are definitely gonna win![]()
Now, where did I put my metric wrenches?...
Compressed for what? Ambient temperature? 30C is warm, 18C is cold. 16C is colder than 18C. I can't tell apart 18C from 18.5C, I really can't
If it's 40C or 41C outside, I'm sweating anyway [emoji14]
I guess it just depends on what you know and are used to.
Meters, millimeters, km, litres etc just seem so simple and decimal based anything else is just confusing. I can easily convert 100.000 meters in 100km by just dropping zeros. If I had to convert 100.000 feet in miles, my brain would melt in the process.

Tony
Sent from my keyboard through my phone or something like that.
Celsius? Farenheit? Meh, those are so uncool. Those who are hip all know that the Delisle temperature scale is where it's at these days!![]()
Hey come on cant we just stick with real temp ...... Kelvin![]()
Duane IDK that they make the wire themselves but the impression I got from QM was they are part of the company that does. Have to ask him he is the one that told me about them. One thing I do know is they sell good wire and always send you a little surprise. Not sure what mine was but thinking it was 29awg I tried to wrap a coil. I think it was 32. Haven't tried twisting it yet and see what I come out with.
I've been won over by the Holman scale. 100 degrees is when a Holman gets angry over the heat and 0 degrees is when he looks outside and says, "Screw it, just better to stay on the couch."![]()
Sorry to tell you this, but even those remaining devices are using joules per coulomb. I guess that means it is time for you to dust off the mechs and party like it's 2013?![]()

Always looking for good juice at a good price! Where did u order from? Also, where did u get ERL K clone? I have been WANTING to try out the authentic but I NEED to start with clone. If u know what I mean! Plus since I got my SXM I have seriously thinking about getting another to carry around if I could find a good used one that I didn't care so much about messing up. So far mine has been at home in its sleeve safe & sound!I believe that Kondo effect Scheissen....
Let the Lemo 2 sit for about a week. Filled it with some Mech Sauce Waterhog I got in Monday to give it it's Inaugural Run and the SXMM was having a Bee-Atch of a time reading the Resistance. Was ALL OVER the place. Acted Schizo. Changed to the Ni200 Profile and she locked in fine and vaped like a Champ.
Then again I know the Ti Profile is very unforgiving and relies heavily on a good Solid Contact (which the L2 is notorious for having Issues with).
The Erl Konigin is still humming right along in the Ti Profile.
Have a WoToFo Erl K Clone coming in Monday. Can't wait to slap a Ti Build on it and see how it compares. They are reputed to be an awesome 1 to 1 so should be fine like the Authentic is on the SXMM in Ti. We shall see.
By the way, The Mech Sauce Juice is impressive. Good and Flavorful right out the Mailbox and seems to become Great after a few days. First Custard I have ever tried (Empress Milk V2-Strawberry Custard & splash of Pear) and strange at first now really digging the Hail out of it. See myself dabbling more in the Custard Realms. The Waterhog is a dang fine and natural tasting Watermelon too. Saving the Blue Tentacle (Jelly Donut-aww YayAh Baby) and the Tsunami Sauce (BB Cheescake) for after they age till Sunday.
Plus since not a DIY'er (yet), at $24.95 for 4 30ml Bottles shipped to my Desk, Sa-Weet!
Orchid and no sporadic actions at all. Tank worked great daily for weeks.
Still works great, but base line has changed.
Once locked at new resistance reading - working beautifully again.
.03 change.
I will check and re-wick once this tank is empty.
Vlad, I got my Eleaf IStick TC40W today and put my STM on it with the build I made to your specifications a while back. It is a Ti coil so I have to run it on Ni mode. No Ti mode on that little boy. I am running it at 350F and it works fairly well with an instant ramp up time. There is no Joules or Wattage settings in TC mode. Only a temperature setting. It feels about 1/3 the weight and less than half the volume of the SXM but it seems to be a very capable device for its size. Well worth the $30 price and nice to have around as a 2nd TC mod just in case or when I need a beater so to speak. The whole mod is about 40% wider than the STM and about 90% of the height of the STM. It just seems strange holding this mod after holding and using the SXM.![]()
Yeah, I agree. I should just use NI200 on this little boy but all my tanks have Ti on them except for my Delta II which I will swop out with now to see how it performs with a NI200 coil. Thanks for the warning as I didn't think about that one.Glad your liking it. It for sure is a tiny light weight device at an amazing price point IMO. Really a nice stealthy size. I've only messed with my sons a little bit but it felt good in hand and produced vapor just like it was supposed to. I would be a little hesitant of using Ti on it though just due to the lack of adjustment of the initial firing (I've experienced the Ti02 flakes on an overheated Ti coil). Did a really quick scope check on his and it was pretty accurate in watt mode. In temp mode it always had a pretty big power surge at initial firing then started trickling down I assume to maintain temp. That surge is what would kinda frightens me with Ti if the wick went dry.![]()
