Kind of bizarre, I played around a bit with the TCR and had to go to .0047 to get a similar vape at 450F. When using .0035 TCR was only slightly, very slightly less anemic than the using steam engine's table at 450F. Which is correct I have no idea but I have to assume the .0035 is closer to what it should be since it's almost exactly the same as what steam engines curve was.
Are you sure you have grade 1 Ti? At the settings I specified, I have a hot vape, exactly like I used to have at 230C with nickel. I actually swapped my atties with nickel and titanium back and forth to make sure it was the same vape.

No I can't say I'm sure, but I ordered what Druckle had suggested and it's supposed to be in 26 gauge Grade 1 Ti. About all I can say for sure is the resistance is pretty much right on with Steam Engine.

Made my first Ti coil finally. 28g, 6 wraps, 2.5mm. It came out to be .45 on SXMM. Steam engine predicted 0.4 so I guess that is close enough. Even though I made a contact coil it ended up being spaced because of springiness I assume. I didn't squeeze coil together when slightly heating up of which maybe I should have. Anyway, running it at 290F & 20j on nickel profile. Seems to be performing well. I will say it is a clean tasting vape. I haven't got around to updating to the Ti upgrade b/c so far haven't had the need. I am interested to see what happens when I do. Hoping to be able to use the coil for more than a couple of tanks like what I have been getting out of ni coil. I don't bother even trying to clean those. Just put a new one in.

If its like me and others you'll have to go to 480+F in Ti mode but you won't have to change your J setting. What it seems to me is 480 in Ti mode is exactly the same as 270 in Ni mode I'm not sure of any other changes with the UG but I never use the Ti mode anyway I'm fine with the nickel setting.

Sad to report the M-class has the same display bug as the S-class when you roll over 1,000,000 Joules. My display now reads v00000. The S-class kept putting garbage characters in the 100,000's digit every 100,000 - the "v" is the only "letter" - the rest are glitches. Doesn't affect anyone who takes their battery out to charge, obviously.

well so far dna200 has nothing on sxm imo. I read the 350j2 is not up to the complexity of the dna200. how it works is important to me! 350j is already performing better but honestly I do not exactly understand escribe. I posted about it in an appropriate thread hopefully someone helps me with it. still I do not see it performing like 350j. I would probably skip j2 if you already havej. afaik the paint is going to come off again anyways. need to anodize this and it would be great. sounds like j2 should just be an update for j. figures they did that. like phones stop upgrading and they just introduce a new model. I do not see much more functionality I would require anyways. do not use ti,ss etc. if it is your first yihi I guess wait for the ml. I hope paint holds up better than mine. I always take out the battery and fiddle with the cap. charger is just much faster. won't be doing that with dna200 if I even use it at this point. sxm is naked but otherwise well.

Odd, I'm having the exact opposite experience, haven't touched a 350J mod since I got my dna200. To be honest though, I never really cared for TC much until I got the dna200 and SS wire. When I was using my SXMM daily, I would say 80% of the time it was in power mode anyway. Occasionally I would use Ti mode with some Ti in a tank or RDA, but most of the time it was regular kanthal/nichrome80 in a RDA.

Looks like a new release is on it's way.

So I emailed yihi regarding their new chip release capabilities and that the rumors had hem not updating the older software/ firmware

I had been one person discussing at length with them the benefits of stainless steel so seeing the new m class getting it and the old not deserved an email to them

I received this response.

"Thanks for your email and sorry for our late reply.
Just back to office from our long national holiday today.

We will release the software for M Class to support stainless steel. Pls do not worry. Because our team went to Paris convensation and after national holiday so delay.
Software will be release earlier of next week. Engineer department doing the final testing those days.
Regarding to other functions, if we can we will try our best to do. but we do hope you and other users can understand: Technical is updating always like iphone, some new technial or functions only available on the new board. what we can do we will try our best not let our users disappointed.

We appreciate for your email, time and suggestion"

I hope some of you find this information useful.

I'd say that after a month, I still use the SXM far more than any other mod. It's compact, easy to use, no LiPos, and I don't care for escribe.

Different strokes for different folks. Nothing wrong with that.

Yep, I agree. Part of it is that I'm pretty happy with using either nickel wire or Kanthal. I played around with Titanium for a bit, then sort of lost interest in it and went back to what works well as it is.

@2legsshrt: The Dani extreme v2 has been around for a little while, they just upped their game with the V2+ version (finally springloaded 510 and some updated menu items)..that one has just released and I am eager to get my little paws on it...but still not in stock at my local shop :(

Also can't wait on the SS update for the Sx mini :)

Zinc cannot be annodized. They selected zinc because it's cheaper to manufacture. The downside is that there is no way to paint it and make it last and it's to *&&^%*/#@ Heavy.

If they want to sell at a premium price they should use premium materials IMHO. Cheap doesn't cut it at $200.

I'm curious how do you get over 1,000,000 Joules. Mine resets everytime I change the battery. I take it you must use the USB port to charge it which I have never done.
