What are you guys using for compensate temp when you are in your home.
Usually 22C or 23C here. We like it on the cooler side in the home. Yesterday it was around 85F here in SoCal so I had to bump it up to around 27C since we turned off the AC a few weeks ago.

It stays about 25-28c in my "build area/computer room" since I have a dual 780ti heavily overclocked water-cooled gaming rig putting out a lot of heat, and it's Florida. So being able to set the proper compensate temp makes a marked improvement in the quality/accuracy of my vape with the SXM over the default 20c.

The Goliath V2 works very well with titanium (and is still my favorite rta of the year), but if building dual coils be sure to put the wires through the post holes side-by-side, not stacked. And of course, make sure the build deck is screwed down well into the base.

Cheers

Coming on the slow boat but hopefully get to try it before chrimbo

Need to get a dozen or so tanks for my collection while I still can but am so fussy takes me forever to decide what to buy

Do you have the Aromomizer RDTA and the Crius? My favorite so far. I am also exploring the Mutation XT.

Ok I just wanted to make sure. I set mine at 22C we keep our house at 72F and when the sun is out it might get to 74F. But when I go outside like right now its 32F which is 0C does it go to minus numbers I've never even checked?

Unless you're locking your resistance outside, it's a non-issue. :)

I just traded my Aromamizer with two decks and both sized tanks for a $20 four-pack of LG HG2's. Hated it. Too ghetto to suit me, and way too big in the 6ml version, and still too big in the 3ml version. Hopefully, the V2 will be better, because it does vape well, though that can be said of about several other less fugly, less bulky RTAs released in the last few months, RTAs that came with all you needed and didn't nickle-and-dime you to death with add-ons to make it fully functional.

The Aromomizer with the Velocity style deck, if the coils sit in the center of the holes (mine does), and if they made it top fill, changed to a fixed metal band instead of the rubber band, would be as good as it gets. But it does product an incredible vape for me and I have not had a leaking problem. I am seeing photos of a black one which looks real nice. With those fixes which I believe they can do, it would be awesome.

Have you tried the Crius? I have 2 less than a week and am finding it to be very nice also. Both the Aromomizer and Crius seem to work real well in TC for me.

I got the Aromamizer with the Velocity deck (eBay @ 44 bucks) little over a week ago. First build didn't cut it...too leaky.

Second build, now re-wicked twice, as a dual NiFe 52, coming in at 0.22 has been rock solid (w/o any leaking using the two hole AFC). Flavor & vapor outstanding. Of course I don't or won't lie it on its side. [emoji6]

Wish CV would replace the AFC with metal or make a cyclops version. With that change the Aromamizer would be a contender with some of the "premium" attys.

You folks have no idea how stoked I am to have discovered this thread and info on the TCR firmware update contained within. I've been out of the loop for awhile. Since immersing myself in research pertaining to SS TC, I had been considering purchasing an ML class, or even worse... A Smok Xcube mini. (maybe a good device, but that M80 comes to mind) Looks like now all I have to purchase is some Triton SS coils for my Herakles tanks and give it a whirl.

Viva la SX Mini M Class vida!

BTW, would someone care to opine on any discernible TC accuracy/curve difference between .3 or .4 ohms in stainless? Thank you in advance!

Edit* 316L stainless wire

Did I mention I am fussy

Checked out a bit of a Crius Vid

See that my 2puffs tips not gonna fit and could have lived with the supplied if it was stainless .... but alas not
Check out Mike Vapes video on the latest version. I believe they are on v3 now. He has other earlier versions of it too and this is a brand new RTA. He claims it is the best RTA out there and others are saying it too. They might be right but I am still evaluating but way up there in the ranks at the least.

They took care of the small holes to bigger ones in v2 along with a normal drip tip fitting. V3 changed to the Velocity style deck. I have the v1 and the supplied glass DT is nice anyway and I also have several drip tips that I haven't been able to use due to being slightly small, loose. Now they have found a home. Even with the v1 I easily fit 2 24ga Ti coils at 2.5mm and on my other one I am using twisted 28ga. No fit problem with the wires. It appears that v3 may have the screw hole going all the way through so v4 is said to be in the works. This tank has only been out about 5 weeks or so and they are responding fast with changes that are being requested. I will say that it is light years ahead in vaping compared to tanks such as the Zephrus, Goliath, Kanger, Atlantis, Delta 2, etc. I don't believe there is any option for pre-built coils so this is designed for coil builders and is rock solid for TC.

While the Atlantis/Trition/etc coils are offered in "SS", is it known what specific kind of SS the coils are made out of and/or the TCR value for that specific wire?

There are almost countless different types SS alloys, some of which may (or not!) be suitable for TC vaping.

316L, of which I've read a TCR value earlier in this thread. Although I don't recall the specific number at the moment.
