Yeah see what it actually is, I don't think its a YiHi chip at all. Probably could still be used if it has TC if it is somewhat accurate. The case if that is not a sleeve doesn't look like an SX. You know how the clones are they have no problem making something that looks like the real thing right down to the logos.

Finally got my M class in today..easily performed the upgrade to the latest version..and now I shall have my first taste of TL vaping with a SS 316 coil..Can somebody please tell me the TCR to enter for that??
I don't know if its really accurate, but I've been using .0012 with the youde SS316 stuff, and its working for me.

edit, well I know it isn't the correct value for the TCR of SS316, but it seems to work better for me with this mod than using the correct value.

where did you buy that mod? I ask because I wonder if someone sold you a clone. there's a SX-M clone out there now that's bang on, spring loaded 510 and everything.... probably not a clone, just a thought :)
Might not be a clone I'm having the same problem and I have done multiple updates in the past.

Guys I can really use some help here. I know this will sound stupid to the guys and gals with TC experience here but I wrapped 5 spaced wraps of SS 316 hoping to have a resistance of 0.06 ohms. But it comes down at 0.38 ohms which exceeds the upper threshold of the TC resistance of the M class. It's starting to get frustrating and I really wanna try this thing before I go to bed.

What gauge and what inner diameter (ID)?

The question rather is: given that the SXmini's manual and hence the resistance threshold it specifies in TC mode were written in the Ni age, will it engage TC with my current build?

You don't have to be around .065 for the M class and TC, I'm not sure where people got that from. I think something was lost in translation from Yihi back in the ni200 days.

Firstly, my question seems to be on point, the SE values notwithstanding.

Early on I used SS 316 from Unkamen in the US. So, you need to be certain about your wire source. It worked just fine as long as I DRY-BURNED before wicking or firing.
