Hi style! Fancy bumping into you here!
Hehehe

What a surprise!

And spooky as i just posted this in the Steam Xmas Do thread on AVF:

Update:

Got an SX Mini M Class (second handsies) today, so now have a grand total of 2 mods and one tank (until Max decides what tank i can buy off him), and i want to know if this means i can now sit at the big boys table with Laurie?

Because before this last update, the SX assumed that it was always 20c by default. Since it has no components to measure external temperature, giving the end user the ability in update 2.32 to adjust for actual temperature gives you more accuracy.

Best bet if you don't know what the temp is within a degree or three, is to leave it at the default 20c. Setting it to zero Celsius when it's 20c in your room means you'll be off by that much, if not more. That's a significant inaccuracy..your 410f setting is closer to 460f in reality, for instance, and with the low TCR of stainless, you're already riding the bleeding edge of the mod's ability to control temps. You're in cotton burn territory (depending on juice PG/VG ratio).

Cheers for the extra info, ill bump it back up to 20c

It hasnt been overly warm in its vapeage thus far, so maybe ive escaped :)

I still question the sanity of theoretically having to twist the tank off and (re)set the temp comp every day potentially. At the moment here at home one day is 30+, the next 24.

Not having to take the tank off every day (or in fact every time i wanted to vape) was exactly why i sent 2 faulty VTC Mini's back :) :)

You only need to do that when you lock your resistance.

You don't have to remove the tank if you want to re-lock resistance and temp comp, just hold both up/down buttons as usual to get a new reading (and of course, don't do it with a warm tank). But like Jim said, you should just set it once and forget it

Me, I always check resistance on new builds after a tank or so just to see if there's any creep, then don't mess with it again until the next build.

Exactly the way that I do it as long as you feel you have a solid build and reliable atty.

OP asked about software, assumed he meant firmware, plus he quoted 2.3.0 which is firmware numbering. Just working with the info i had at the time :) :)

I see, I had overlooked 2legsshrt question and was answering Tamer El-meehy about the SXI, so to clarify for all.

The latest SXI software for the SXmini M is 2.3.0
And the latest Firmware for the SXmini M is 2.32

Good o, i assumed it was firmware as theres no ver number on the SXi download page, and never ocurred to me to look at the ver in the SXi software, just ran it, hit info, and right you are :)

Pretend i said nothing, lol

Hi guys I've recently got my hands on a SX Mini M Class and it's version 1.9 but when I tried to upgrade it, I've a couple of problems.

1. "Device not recognised" by my computer
2. When I tried to press connect in SXi it tells me "No Device"

Because of this I'm unable to updraft its firmware.

Any help to resolve this is appreciated !

And yes I've tried it with battery in, link mode and also without battery but no avail.

Have you installed Yihi software on your computer? (YiH-SXi-Setup-v20150522-1621) this is found on their website.
