But it sure would be simpler for everybody if they simply listed their authorized dealers.
Vapro Supply is the U.S. distributor for the SX Mini according to their YiHi SX Mini facebook page. I could be misremembering but I think they were the ones that were schlepping pre-release S-class models to trade shows. YiHi doesn't likely doesn't have a list of Vapro's customers who would be legitimate SX Mini dealers.

For anyone in the UK, I use Cloud 9 for all my vape gear now. They have proven a to be a first class store and do not sell any type of clones. I think they are waiting for the next batch of Ms before they get anymore.

As for my M class and my problems with my kayfuns. They are still a little funky. But the steam tuners spring update has near fixed my problems. I now make a simple 5 wrap and try for the 0.65 and it's working. Well kinda. It is so easy to loose it's resistance. I now know when this happens as the vape goes light. So I take off my tank, play around and put it back. Seems there is a calibration memory issue I hope they fix with a patch. I sometime get a dry coil warning but when I open the deck up all seems fine. Put it back and it works again. So there is some connection issues. Wish they unified the 510 systems.

However! I am soooo happy. I am glad I have the M too. It is by far the only mod I use now. I have my S sitting there looking at me all funny like....

Again, thank all of you who helped me get through the learning curve. Much appreciated! Have a cool weekend all :)

Yes, I've contacted them "Yihi" in regard to this question of their "Official distributor" And they replied that they are working on a verification system on their website. Any distributor that's purchased directly from them will have a Custom ID # that we will be able to use to verify the ID is valid. In the example they provided to me they did use Vapro Supply LLC

Pappapro, maybe you should try some other tanks and resell those? I've read so many complain about the inconsistencies of the Kayfun when trying to use them with nickle. And there's just oodles and goodles of tanks on the market today. I know you said earlier on you liked the tighter draw but there's gotta be more consistent tanks fitting that draw you like. The Subtank mini's I've used have been rock solid. Set it up, Sync and vape vape vape. Can only recall one time I had a problem and I think that was from the center post coming lose. It was easily identifiable and resolved and I was back in business. :) You might look around to see if you can find some other tanks that aren't as problematic.

Vapro is the one who re-sells to the smaller B&M's (And I'm sure other authorized dealers do too). But according to yihi's statement they will not honor the warranty if purchased through one of these B&M's who purchased legitimately? Doesn't make sense!
There are also plenty of authorized dealers who buy direct from yihi (not from Vapro) too.

Vaporshark sells the M class for $199. 20% off this weekend (Code: Memorial). $160 shipped.

They're going to lose the line if they do -- and all purchasers warranty voided.

I have to agree. As much as I loved my KF4, I did give up trying to use it with nickel - even with the Steamtuners upgrade. The problems are less bad with it, but still there's an intermittant funky connection problem (which you can even see with kanthal BTW). I have put my KF4 driptip on my Lemo2, and I can adjust the airflow so that it's really close. It's not entirely the same, but close enough, and it should balance out with the fact that it's so much easier to use with TC. I have had 0 (zero) problems so far since I got this setup, and every single build worked first time.

Are you 100% sure about this, and if so can you point me to the evidence? I ordered one last night, but I emailed VS today to ask about the warranty.

Yes. Yihi has strict MAP pricing -- why you see everyone selling it for the same price. Other vendors, as reported in this forum, had sales/pre-sales and quickly revised their pricing back to the $199.

They will probably just tell yihi is was a mistake and offered globally on their site, and given a warning (Don't actually know how they police/enforce), but it'll be after the sale is over :)

You should be fine.

I don't believe I've seen anywhere that Yihi has stated anything about not warrantying a product if sold under their MAP pricing. They may have contractual agreements with the distributors regarding the MAP but nothing I've seen made public regarding warranty or lack of if that agreement is not met. They may discontinue shipments to such vendors that don't adhere to their contracts at their discretion.

I'm relatively certain there is no link to "evidence" directly associated with that statement. It's wise of you to contact VS though. Let us know what they say. More than likely they either made a mistake or have reached an agreement with Yihi as it's a national holiday weekend here in the states.

This is wholly UNTRUE.

Either, (1) the K4 in question is not authentic, (2) the builder has not built properly, or, (3) the K4 is not properly set up -- usually problem with parts # 9 and 10. This, with the stock gold spring.

My K4's could not be more predictable whether on the SX M or my DNA40's.

My ADV is a K4 on a DNA40, and it is the most stable topper in my collection, and I'm back to using the stock spring! I'm not sure where all the horror stories came from, but I'm guessing it was the learning curve associated with TP, not the spring in the Kayfun...

Don't most TC/P devices have a spring loaded 510 now?

I really hope it's not a mistake! I wanted a pink one, so this sale was perfect for me :)

I don't believe .....They may....I'm relatively certain

Is that like when a meteorologist predicts a 40% chance of rain? They're right either way?

The transitive property of mathematics…
If A=B and B=C, then A=C.
If a dealer sells below MAP pricing they lose their yihi dealership. If you purchase from a non authorized dealer you have no warranty. Equals…. If you buy under MAP pricing you have no warranty.

Anyway, what’s done is done. Yihi has made it clear to us consumers to ONLY buy their product from an authorized dealer (who must sell at or over MAP pricing) or you will have no warranty. All else, decide if that $40 is worth the “possibility”. but act fast….because I’m “relatively certain” that yihi has already seen these posts and that coupon code will not be valid (on the Rose unit) throughout the entire weekend.

I've had no issues with my 6 KF v4's and DNA40 devices. Some might change when I close the JC to refill but closing and opening again fixes the issue (connection).

Most devices have spring loaded 510's (all of mine do) but the ground connection is soldered to the pin so the ground isn't going thru the spring.
