Man do me a favour I am half Chinese I can't take it Chinglish anymore! Someone please offer to do YiHi how to guides!;)

vape on!
Yea I know it can be a nightmare sometimes. I've had numerous occasions I've had to ask for better English speaking rep when calling overseas for support. At least with print you have something to work with, get someone on the phone that cant speak clear English and you have nothing to study. :)

when they say you might have a hidden agenda they are in attack mode

Not attacking just stating the obvious. He's the only one with numerous posts complaining about the bug. Reinstall ver 1.4 or don't use the new feature it's pretty simple as pointed out.

You can quote my posts all you like. One thing I see in most all of my posts is the word "Nuisance" The post that didn't was at the time of the initial discovery.

I think our love affair might be over Vlad1…… @retird has you there. And its what my beef with you was all about.

If you want to be as vocal in this thread as you are and have more posts then everyone else combined, you need to choose your words wisely and post facts. People come here for answers && advice to either learn or decide on buying a mod. And don’t be so offensive when someone posts something you didn’t know.

You cant go from saying something is a “MAJOR NUISANCE" to just a "MINOR BUG”. To me, all it ever was was a minor bug, but if it was more then that for one/some, no need to complain 8x like he did. Simply downgrade back to the firmware they bought.

Just sayin….

My biggest issue was the installation process. So many of us had a pain in the A** getting the device to upgrade. Some instructions from the beginning would have been great. A tutorial or something. Not being Apple friendly was another big negative in my opinion. I had to dig out a windows based PC. I know all about virtual box but I want my vaping to be simple. Same goes for upgrades.
Upgrading the SX M should be as simply as as doing an upgrade on your cell phone.
Still a great device and the ability to upgrade is fantastic in my opinion.

I could have chosen my words more wisely however there was a natural progression with each comment I made over the course of the problem identification. This happens when collaborating with others. If taken out of context or ignoring the natural progression like Retird is trying to do it could be interpreted incorrectly.

For clarity.

1. Seeing the problem and identifying it "think you just found a major bug"
2. Reproducing the bug and identifying a work around "I can persistently reproduce a major problem doing this:( It's avoidable but a nuisance all the same"
3. Confirming other devices can reproduce the problem. "It's a major nuisance but completely avoidable if switched to another mode"
4. Knowing the problem and solution and that a fix is in the works "The two trivial bugs that have been sent to me are an inconvenient nuisance nothing more"

So yea I don't see through the same window you look through but that's ok.

Sooooooo the FAQ that YiHi published suggested downgrading to 1.4 then re- flashing to 2.1... Does this mean they put a new/ fixed build up? Has anyone tried it!

Boy did you peak my interest... where did you read that suggestion from YiHi?

littlewierdo..... when they say you might have a hidden agenda they are in attack mode......just avoid and state your opinion... funny how these bugs have gone from a major problem to a major nuisance to just a couple of trivial bugs....as stated by in the quoted posts.... bottom line is Yihi put out a bad update...own it guys....get it fixed and move on...I too asked Yihi to take down the update for the community's sake... all you can do is ask... Yihi will do what Yihi wants to do....

Here you are requesting a take down from YiHi when you don't even own the mod. It's like we have our own vaping fairy godmother always looking out for us...lol. How cool is that?

I had the right one I did it yesterday they said V3.0 and I thought it was the wrong one. Has anyone gone back to the old setup then redownloaded the upgrade and installed it to see if that does anything? I don't really want to do it if it doesn't work I am satisfied now that I know the work around for eco just wondering if it fixed that or not.

One thing I'd want to add to the list is what they did that changed the vape at the same settings as the old. I like it but would like to know what they did to cause it.

To cause it? They fixed it and made it accurate. If you read the pre-release notes v2.1 states fixed bugs.

I think i may of just stumbled upon something of interest in the upgrade ..... yes the Eco function has a flaw and NEEDS to be fixed (check battery issue when pulling battery).

....but i also think I've found something useful with it - Its like each memory bank is separate from the others 'Mx' bank while in eco mode.
i.e. 'M3' is programmed to 35J ....but when in Eco mode I can make 'M3' slot 33J (or anythinf i want) .....and when I switch back to another mode other than eco mode it goes back to the 35j setting, then back to 33J in eco mode automarically.

I can see the benefit of this (sort of) especially with the 5 second LED cut off time.
