M Class & Zephyrus say Sunday is not for relaxing

Well not until you try, try again

Got there in the end & worth the effort but for work mon-fri it will be no hassle subtank mini's still

The Zephyrus is a great vape on the SX M but would like a single deck as airy & raised air flow cause if you don't get wicking just right

It's either a biblical flood or starving wick

Ended up with dual at 0.145, with 2x 5 wraps of 26awg Ti

Several attempts later we are rocking :)

The only truly "last vaping product" will be integrated into our coffin.

Well Since I'm not going to have a coffin( Gives me the heebie jeebies thinking of bugs crawling on my final resting place) so I prefer the burn method and being thrown in the waters of my favorite fishing spots I guess they will have to throw my mods overboard with my ashes..lol

Factory coils the Zephyrus wins hands down

But in RBA mode the Zephyrus don't even come close for me

The Zephyrus deck would be a close match in my mind if it was designed the same as the Subtank & was single coil

Its fiddly & matching two exact coils even with just 5 wraps for TP is a challenge

Weirdly enough I can replicate my coils every time in the Subtank decks, which allows me to swap tanks about and not even have to lock in the resistance again

These 2 builds I just did are 0.262 & 0.264

This works perfectly! Giant coil made out of 500mm thick Kanthal, 15 wraps of 1000mm inner diameter, spaced 500mm apart.

Attach it to a few car batteries in series and a big button. The largest mech mod in history.

Wrap you up in swaddling, put you in the middle and.. You're the wick in a giant coil! Pour on some of your favourite e-juice, and fire that baby up! Once the juice burns off, up you'll go!

Vaping till the very end :)

I should go into the cremation business. Vapation: The Last Wish Of Your Beloved Vaper.

Oh crap, I'm just about to pull the trigger on that one and now you make me reconsider it. Nice... Well I guess I'll stick to Kayfun for now (and Origen v2 mk II and nextgen and... errr... I better stop before my wife found out more LOL)

Is that Ti then I know it's not nickel with those resistances. Say does the Ti upgrade have any other bonuses besides being able to set for Ti coil. Just curious cause I'm not sure whether I would upgrade or not. I am pretty happy with nickel but have never tried the Ti.

Yeah Ti mate

Been using it for weeks now and all I do is set TP to 260f ... Thanks to @tchavei & @TheotherSteveS

Works a treat & a build easily lasts me all week with 2 tanks a day going through it

At a push I can leave it for two weeks if I have to work all weekend

it would have to be Ti though surely!!!!! You could have differnet price tiers of Vapation - Quad twisted 8g with a small power station set up to fire it through a single spaced 800 wrap 20g for that slow burn...

I have to 2nd this entire post - moving to Ti has been great.

You know what I went back 10 pages trying to find a link for Ti wire and couldn't. Is there any place that doesn't charge $1 a foot.

I used Unkamen thanks to the link druckle posted a while back!

I also read on here that it is a little difficult to wrap a coil because of the springiness.

nah. Some of the Ti wire can be a bit springy. The jewellery gr1 wire that duane listed should be easy to wrap. There is some mildly annelaed stuff becoming available which is pretty easy to use. Its all good! go for it!

Thanks that site is a little cheaper. Still quite a bit higher then nickel. What is the best gauge to use?

you might get some variation in replies here lol!
I reckon 24 and 26 are probably the best but i have 24, 26, 28, 29 and 30 and have used all of them. 26 probably my favourite at the moment!!

What gauge is that and does YiHi give you a recommended resistance to use like the .065 with nickel. And what is the ID

Don't want to put you off as it a nice tank

The factory coils work so well, you can just keep chain vaping and never go dry

Hit them with 40w+ & they certainly produce plenty of vapour

Air flow is wide open & if they bring out pre made Ti coils for this it will likely become my favourite tank as would save me building them

[ tag: Youde Zephyrus Titanium Coils ] hope they see this & start production ;)
