Don't think I've posted this in this thread but idk maybe I have.

Bugs fixed:
No longer defaulting to M1 when exiting menu system and places you back at your previously selected Mx selection.
Doesn't lose Power or Joule settings if adjusted in the menu system after exiting and selecting another Mx location
Can no longer circumvent 75J setting with Ni200 mode because that limitation is no longer present.

Added Features are:
Manual TCR
Temperature Compensation
75J in Ni200 mode

There are still 2 bugs I'm aware of. If you come across any please let me know what they are and how to reproduce them if needed.

Vlad,

Where is "Temperature Compensation" located. I didn't see it anywhere?

Got mine upgraded. Set the tcr for 316ss, 0.0009, to use the stock ss coil in the crown tank but it was weak to me. Set to 0.0013 for 410ss and it working good for me.

I've read the Crown coils are 304ss, but I've also heard some say they're 316 so idk. But I've been using .00105 as if it were 304 and has been working well for me.

I've read those different numbers too. I know the have ni200 legs. On my dna200 none of the tcr curves from steam engine worked good. I manual inputted the tcr for 410 in a profile and it works good.

Whatever makes it work I guess.[emoji4]

Do you guys think they got the Ti profile right or not. I'm just not sure. I'll keep playing with it but somehow it almost tasted better in the Ni mode at 290. Maybe I just haven't got the temp down right. What are you using for Ti01 .28 coil.

0.00350 works perfectly with my 24awg Ti 4 wrap build

Need to up the TCR to 0.00390 for my 7 wrap with the same wire and then it comes alive

Don't think its a case of have they got it right or wrong just there is too much guestimation going on

As a coil heats from the inside out and the mod is measuring resistance over the entire length including legs

Users will always have to make minor adjustments to match their build/tank to dial it in to their own satisfaction

Fortunately Manual TCR gives you that option now

Running an Erl K, 26ga Ti 0.223 R (5/6 wrap), 70/30 mix Juice at 22.5J & 444* F w22* C Compensate.
Doing just peachey in Manual TCR set to the standard 0.00350
Actually even thought about going up to 460* & then 480* with a couple different J settings to see what's shakin' up there.

P.s. After seeing QM's Post, instead of monkeying with the Temp & J, may just try upping the TCR to around 0.00370 and see if that tickles the Taste Beast somewhat.

Does anyone know what version of the install software you have? I did update on the last one ok but this time my PC will not see the SXM driver :(

Anyone have an idea? I have version 2.3.0

Cheers!

Take the battery out and then try the update. I don't know why that works but it does.
