Thank's all for the tips. I have two M Class's setup. One with Ti and the other with Ni 48. Very intersting. The Ti seems cleaner to me but I need more time to play around. I am the same as 2 legs. Low watts is all I need.

Good stuff
Well I'll tell you the way someone told me to use NiFe48 from Zivipf and it is really good. Using 26awg wrap a 6 wrap contact coil and stretch it a little like with Ti. Then put it on your atty with the M in power mode at 15w fire it till it starts to glow and let it glow for 2-3sec then it will be a blackish grey color pulse it back to glowing and compress it with tweezers till it glows from the inside out just like Kanthal. This is 6wrap 2.5mm comes out at about .195ohms. The spacing it and oxidizing seems to be an important part of the process so you end up with a 6 wrap 2.5mm contact coil. I start out at about 375F 13J and as it gets broken in I'm up to 420F 18J. Works really good just wick it normally. I haven't had one get dirty enough to rewick yet but you are suppose to be able to dry burn it just like Kanthal. I've been using these coils about a week and still great flavor and vapor it's 52%nickel 48%iron and seems to make a very good alloy. I read that nickel and iron have nearly the same molecular makeup. The only thing that concerns me is if it is bad for the lungs to use dry burned nickel, I don't think so and it tastes just like Ti but it is so easy to work with so I can't decide which I like better. Wanted to get 50m before we have vapocolypse here in the states. Oh I almost forgot use the manual TCR and set it to .00405

@Croak your right about the low power vaping. I would never use that kind of power but the custom themes and stuff is kinda cool but I'm afraid it would turn out like the only dna I ever had a 40 never could get it to work right for very long. Never have had any problems with the SX's plus this FW upgrade they did really makes it great.

Vapocolypse shouldn't effect wire for us, its for jewelry right? Really when it comes down to it, it will probably mainly effect juice companies.

I think you would like a DNA200. Its not just for high wattage vapers. I barely touch my M class anymore. The reference evolv DNA200 has been one of my favorite to use, and they should start selling them in aluminum, and black here soon.

Zinc cannot be annodized. They selected zinc because it's cheaper to manufacture. The downside is that there is no way to paint it and make it last and it's to *&&^%*/#@ Heavy.

If they want to sell at a premium price they should use premium materials IMHO. Cheap doesn't cut it at $200.

Kind of strange comment to make. Mine is still blemish free has been used daily since I received it in July so yes it can be painted or coated for sure, heavy I agree and painful to drop on bare toe's it breaks them believe me I know.
As for price I am more than happy with performance, I have paid higher prices in the past for less (performance and functions).
I love the SxMini its a ripper!

I became tired of changing the battery continually, I scraped mine, bought a couple 150-200 watt mods, problem solved.

I rarely have to change batteries but I'm usually vaping in the lower ranges with a single coil but I have hoped a designer would come out with a nicer battery option than the extension tube that would compliment the SXM and allow for longer or higher power settings. Here's a crude example of what I'd like to see someone do that could mate up to the SXmini m while maintaining it's ergonomics and design for the most part. IMO it would really open their market to those that do want to vape at higher power ranges and not require the battle axe.

It's the best damned PV I've ever owned and I still think the best on the market. You could pay $200 for a Radius which would have been a hell of deal with a YiHi chip in it. But no TC????

I fully agree with you on that, other than having to change the battery with little effort there is no maintenance required to keep it looking nice and respectable looking.
I don't miss the days of polishing brass anointed mods and 1/2 hour battery change over fiddling with contacts, times have changed in such a short period of time.
Best looking best in the hand and great follow up after purchase service too. Just waiting now for its big brother to join the stable.

Color me even more impressed, in Eco mode I managed 26k joules out of an LG HG2 (and about 23ml of juice). Didn't have those batteries when I still had the old SXM, just 25R and HE2/HE4's, and 21k was the best I ever got out of one of them, once.
How many puffs for 25k and what voltage was ur battery when it hit the charger ?

Vaping in eco mode is it the same as standard ? But limited joules ?

Yea I probably would as well. I've been on the fence on the Renegade X but to be honest I'm probably not going to be buying anything new until what I have fails, gets stolen or lost etc... They just do everything I need presently.

Well tonight was the night for me to try another experiment with my one of my 2 new UD Goliath attys as I have said I might do last night.

This is a dual twisted 26ga SpiderSilk Ti with 30ga NI200 on the UD Goliath v2 sitting on the SXM.
View attachment 479372

Threw some KGD on the coils and later shaped them a bit to produce a Qorax style fat shoulder with thin wicking into the 4 large juice channels.
View attachment 479373

A view from the top after some ejuice on the wick to get them nicely placed into the juice channels.
View attachment 479374

Here is another look from the side.
View attachment 479375

All juiced up with my own Butterscotch/Caramel ejuice and ready to vape.
View attachment 479376

The build was 10/9 spaced wrap using 26ga SpiderSilk Ti twisted tightly with 30ga NI200 on a 2mm rod. I tried 2.5mm but it just wouldn't fit into the chamber so I just used a 2mm rod and pulled it tight to change the inner diameter to 2mm from 2.5mm. That worked well and was the first time I ever tried to do that with the wire tightened down on the posts.

The build turned out to be .075 ohms which has always been a good number for me on the SXM. I am finding 26J at 300F to be quite satisfying producing some of the finest flavor and cloud production of all my attys to date. Since the NI200 resistance is much lower than the Ti I am using the SXM NI200 profile for this build. I may need to adjust as the build settles in but so far it is incredible.
We'll have to see how well this works over time but so far so good! :toast: Cheers!:vapor:

With pending prohibition on tanks bigger than 2ml & leak proof over this side of the pond

Just launched a few tanks into my basket for my stock cupboard including the Goliath V2

Hoping this will be a good tank to run Ti in

The Goliath V2 works very well with titanium (and is still my favorite RTA of the year), but if building dual coils be sure to put the wires through the post holes side-by-side, not stacked. And of course, make sure the build deck is screwed down well into the base.
