Messing around with a dual coil Pontus dripping tank @ 0.54 ohms / 25 watts today... :vapor:

EDIT: "Powerful" mode gives this build a nice kick-in-the-pants, then tones-down as designed. I must say that the El Toro Cigarrillos Naturales is tasting VERY nice with it, although I prefer the "Soft" mode for all my other builds.

Finalized my order from Sun Vapers today. After the transaction, I spoke with Mike for a while on the phone, and he wasn't very forthcoming with information pertaining to why they removed the Mini from the online catalog. The best I could get out of him was "Well, we were set to get a bunch of them... and then we weren't" with an uncomfortable little chuckle at the end as if he'd just said more than he thought he should've. So I'm thinking probably either an MOQ or wholesale pricing issue with YiHi; or perhaps Ed simply thought they wouldn't move enough units to make it worth his while. Which is mind-boggling. Mike did assure me that they've had zero complaints about the device from customers so far, and that pulling the Mini had nothing to do with anything of that nature.

I'm starting to get a little aggravated that my pitiful excuse for a video review is still the only halfway decent source of information about this mod on YT a month after its release. Even the Solara got more love (yes, the damn $175.00 DNA30-powered SOLARA, complete with LiPo, "metal" buttons, and chrome-plated trim).

I don't get it.

Exactly, for this reason and seeing the IPV mini side-by-side in a video about the IPV mini, I choose to go with something different mainly due to cost and lack of review on this awesome looking device. Don't get me wrong I want one, but I'm willing to wait to part with my hard earned cash for a review of this before buying.

Glad you got another;) Your review was the reason I bought one but thankfully not the reason I broke it!;)

Received my sx mini yesterday! My expectations were high, as I have dealt with several sx chips as a local modder and have come to appreciate YIHI quality... My expectations were definitely exceeded. Beautiful build quality, and performance. Highly recommend to anyone sitting on the fence. Great thread btw

I just received my SXmini today, haven't vapid her yet, since my Hobo has a nickel build. So far i'm liking the overall size. What I've noticed about many of the photo's here.. almost all have the white SXmini logo on the gray/black section. Mine is missing the logo which is really nice! I must have lucked out with my purchase from varitube.com

Well i've been using this device for the past 12 hours now, and 100% happy with my new purchase. For the price-point you really can't go wrong. Between this, my VaporShark RDNA 40, and not to distance future Black Rose DNA 30 Mod. I might start selling off/giving away the rest of my collect to friends wanting to quit smoking.

If your up in the air about getting, this mod... I'd say go for it!

I've read this thread from start to finish and swear I heard someone say there was a vendor that offered free express shipping but I'll be danged if I can find it again...

I see it on Vapinart and have used them before but I WANT ONE NOW! lol

Funny thing is there were only 39 pages to this thread when I found it, now there's 41, active thread... :)

Somehow missed this, but Coval Vapes has a blog review on the SXmini right here. He does a fantastic job of describing the effects of the three firing modes.

k2zs: There is an SXmini thread over on the Forum That Shall Not Be Named On ECF wherein you will find a size comparison picture with what appears to be either an authentic or 1:1 ZNA clone beside the Mini, along with several other mods of varying sizes. PM me if you're confused. ;)

At least there's more being said out there regarding the mod.. Thanks for the link. :) What was written about "Effect On Flavor" in "Powerful" mode is dead-on to what I've been experiencing with the Pontus build I posted about yesterday..

I saw your vid posted in the only eBay listing I've seen so far of the SXmini the other day.. :)

That was probably me. Here you go. Free USPS Priority, and this guy will get it shipped out REALLY fast.

So, I'm following this thread for a while, currently have the VaporShark on order but really do not want to wait any longer (and it's looking like it will be another month). Is there any reason that I am overlooking on why I shouldn't cancel that order and get one of these instead.

P.S. I really don't see myself using TempControl as the more I read about trying to build a nickel coil, the less I want to try it.

Everybody has different vape preferences, tho, if you are not looking to use temp setting, the sx will do you fine. Really, from a spec point of view, it is a more capable device. THere has been rumor of an update down the road that will incorporate temp control too. Though, for now, that has not been confirmed. This thing is gorgeous and is a heck of a vape!

Disregarding the TP of the DNA 40, no reason whatsoever IMO... :) The SXmini is proving to be very well-built, accurate, consistent, and a solid performer.. Not much not to like.. ;)
