rounding third and heading home...
Ok so I started a thread where I listed a bunch of higher end (mostly dna 40 based) mods that I was thinking about getting. At first it was several people leaning to this or that dna 40 based mod, then suddenly a ton of people mentioned the SX Mini. Tried to find it for sale for a couple of days and couldn't, then some nice folks sent me to a couple of online shops that had it.

So I just bit the bullet and ordered one. Now comes the two week wait until it makes it out here to me in Afghan.

sure hope you are safe over there in afghan-i sure wish you were waiting for it in tx.and it didn't have to be forwarded! you won't regret it in either place. above all else, be well in the this new year....

Well after lazily trying to find a late version model VS rdna 40 and not having much luck, I have decided to take up a decent deal on a new SXmini for 149.00
I'm sure the evolve crew is going to further their new product and refine it more for the higher wattage guys sooner or later, and I'll wait for it to mature some and see where they go with it. I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new coil heater.:2cool:

i thought we had exposed this in the beginning of this thread as being bogus..... please be forthcoming where this deal is .... i notice you haven't posted a link which would be the decent thing to do...if it exists. don't mean to be "dr. gloom" but i will believe it when i see it.......

I have both. Lancia has more airflow than the Magma and is more customizable. Flavor is very similar to Magma. Lancia holds less juice and can leak through the plug holes. It's more finicky than the Magma, but looks a lot better, especially when using the glass chamber. I tend to go for looks over easy of use, so I use my Lancia more than my Magma, just as I use my Zero Mod more than my IPV.

Thanks and Happy New Year to you also.

It is amazing how the three different power levels effect different atomizers and juices. When you play with these three power levels, different wattages and airflow all together you can sure get different taste from the juice being used. This all just gives us so much more adjustability. I am sold on this board/chip and my mechanical mods are not going to be used as much as they have been.

I hear ya! I just got the Dimitri box clone, and built the Geyser RDA to use with it (.55ohm) .. all I got was a lot of side eye for my troubles :glare: Literally took 3 vapes, put it back down on the table and went back to vaping the SXmini, and the SX Zero clone which I also like a lot. Both really good vapes, and well behaved devices.

I got some SXmini/Aqua V2 porn coming later to

just a quibble. mine is solid. as good as anything else. not perfect though. there is a small gap 1mm where the aluminum meets the stainless. on the other side there is a small chip where the aluminum meets the stainless. it is not perfect but among the best to be had. I have had expensive dna boxes with way more faults.

on that note compare this to the variant lol. sorry I ever bought that. well made, huge but specs are really odd. no way it is hitting 250w.

I have one minor flaw on mine too .. just the gray body being slightly out of alignment with the silver frame on one side, but you have to look close to notice it. I have seen a pic of a slightly more pronounced misalignment, and like dravell said perhaps it can be realigned by loosening the screws on the frame, and shifting the body into place.

That being said, since this is not a mass produced device, I expect QC to be perfect .. most especially when there is a QC passed sticker in every box. If Yihi wants "high end" status and recognition, then they need to do high end QC checks too.
