Its also possible you have a touch too much cotton in that particular coil. I know when I get that muted taste out of my Lemo, when I pull the cotton,I usually notice a spec of seed, or one of those little clumps that got wedged inside somehow. With the super-max VG joose I have to use, I have to run really wispy wicks it the Lemo's or I get that same issue. You could try that if the flavor doesn't blossom for you.

Thanks WoW, I will try reducing the cotton a bit. Hope that helps cause I WANT to like this new KF4.

Nik - I am not overly impressed with the KF4 flavor. It seems less a 'detailed' or complex flavor than the Rose2 or the Aqua2. I use the M-tank and a 0.5 ohm twisted 28 on it but just a straight mech mod until my SXmini arrives (Tuesday) so maybe with the variable wattage I can fine-tune the tape on it.

That is how I felt for the first week and half using the KF4, I thought the flavor was ok at best. I even stopped using it for several days because it just didn't move me. But as I sat down to start writing my review, I changed to the PC tank, and it was a huge difference for me. I ran a juice in it that I also use in the Rose V2, and felt it was on par in flavor and throat hit.

The KF4 is still not my favorite because I feel like there is a lot off fiddling and adjusting needed to get it to the right place. The glass tank is my favorite configuration aesthetically speaking, but the vape was so unsatisfying.

So I think you are right, the KF4 is the atomizer that needs to be consistently "dialed in" and used with certain devices for specific builds and eliquid combos. :)

Roxy, maybe it is my 'unseasoned' coil. I will keep vaping it off and on until my doubts about it are either confirmed or ... I get a surprise and the flavor kicks into full blossom! The problem is I get such good, satisfying flavor from my Rose2 and Aqua2 that I don't have much patience with anything less flavorful.

So true ^^

I hear you :). The Rose and Aquav2 are my favs as well. The K4 though is better than I thought though. Sometimes it takes me a day or two for my coil to season before I know how much I like a new atty. And now I do like it enough to fix its issues or replace it with another. I don't expect it will ever be my favorite, but my initial impression wasn't favorable, and now its changing.

I've been loving my SXmini and the Atlantis. Been vaping the last couple of days and extremely happy. Will probably order another Atlantis or 2 and possibly try a Lemo. But still debating that [emoji6]

Got an Atlantis on the way myself, been wanting to see what all the hype is about. What do you usually vape it at?

Right now I'm at 30 and enjoying it. I might try 35 and see what happens but so far that's been very flavor pleasurable. I'm also goofing around with a higher PG mix and noticing the flavor is really popping for me. Found a yummy pineapple that I was completely surprised at.

Gotta tell you guys, I've been running "100%" VG joose in my subtank without issue. Flavor is better, in my opinion, than in the Atlantis with it. I also think the draw is easier on the subtank as well...:2c:
Yeah, subtank looks nice...just wish it was 22/23mm device...DAT SIZE YO

Might still pick one up to try out anyways, like to check out those raved about products eventually

Set your expectations low so you don't get too disappointed. It's good but not the end all. LOL

Tanks have worked for me for the last year and Aspire just stood out to me even though it only holds 2 rather than 5 like the Kanger.

Thanks! I picked up two Samsung 25r batteries for it while I was there. I need to get a charger now - they had Nitecore chargers but from what I read on here I would rather not go with one of those. I will probably order an Xtar tomorrow...

I got some wire & Japanese cotton (which I used to wick the coil) there but having never built my own coil I was leery of not having a tank to use if I screwed up so I am using the factory coil for now. Next Friday I will stop in & if they don't have any Subtanks yet I will get a dripper to learn on - that way I have a backup if need be while I figure things out...:)

Wait! They're releasing a 22mm version. Instagram
Hopefully they will have fixed the dissolving insulator by then just poor from Kanger there. How airy is the Subtank let's say in comparison to a Fogger V4?

The K4 just seems too much hassle to get a good vape I can recoil and a wick a Rose in a few mins and it works. Just like the KFL+ just over hyped I was never a fan the vape was OK but nothing special for me got rid of them all.

You could do that if you want, but trust me, you don't need to. There's so many good videos on YouTube of how to build a kayfun. It's not hard at all. If I can do it, so can you lol. The deck on your Lemo is just a beefy kayfun. One of the easiest things to build on. YOU CAN DOOIIITTT!
