Got a Subtank on the way myself, along with a black Lemo Drop: 23mm so it should look a treat on the mini!

Just received my Subtank this morning, I keep hearing how it puts the Atlantis to shame, although I never tried the Atlantis. Plug n play is great for when I am feeling lazy. :p

I just ordered a SXMini from Varitube. I really don't need it, but I want it. It seems I always want the new toys, but most of the time I just wait and normally something better will come along. After reading all the input from the fine people on this thread, I think it may be a long time before a mod comes along that is better than the SXMini.
It is exactly the mod I have been waiting for and I think it will suit my vaping style quite well. My usual vape is at around 50 to 60watts with a build of around .25 ohms.
I think the SXMini is going to look good with my MMVapors OverOne rda on it.
Thanks for all the great posts on this mod.

rounding third and heading home...

the plug n play side is just a wonderful vape-they got their occ coil right and even though they are the same ohms, their coil is just better than the atlantis. now throw in a another deck on which to add your own wick and coil(just like a kayfun) and you have a bargain of a tank for under $50. well made, easy to put together, and a large capacity make this a great tank. not to mention how great it looks on top of an sx mini. the coil side at 25 watts and "soft" the rba side at 30 watts and either "standard" or " powerful". the "powerful" mode smells like victory....

(apologies to robert duvall)

anyone ordered through yetivape.com? the only reason I ask is I'm going to order one soon and yeti has very low shipping to Canada! but if they're not a good vendor....

I ordered mine through them. Then I had a bad one and they sent me a replacement in less than a week. Very good to deal with. They are located in Buffalo NY.

This thread is bad for the wallet, 1st I get tempted into looking at getting the sx mini, now I am wondering if I should ditch my Atlantis and get the kanger subtank, I like the Atlantis for it's plug and vape, but do get some throat irritation using it, so wonder if the subtank would be better for me, but that 25mm size sucks though, but wouldn't be used on the sx mini I am planning on getting anyway.

is the SX mini hard to get or something? i see that since the original post, the price increased by $40. ....... so now its the same price as an authentic DNA 40 vaporshark

Several vendors still have them but Coval Vapes just went OOS on the grey after I purchased a grey one from them about 5 minutes ago. Varitube says they still have the grey in stock and Yetivape lists them as a pre-order. I chose Coval since they are located in Texas and the shipping should be faster to CA than Florida (Varitube).

EDIT: Coval still has the black for sale as of 3:45pm Pacific Time on 12/29. Sorry for any confusion. They are only OOS on the grey. EDIT 2: Coval now OOS on both models as of 4:45pm on 12/29.

Dang!!! I was just in Buffalo today! I'm gonna have to look them up next time I'm there, I like visiting vape shops :)

Hey nelsonm64! If I'm not mistaken Buffalo is right next to Canadia, could be an excuse for a road trip ;)

Haha. Just ordered the subtank a few days ago too. Enjoy the Atlantis and Lemo Drop, but hope the Sub is a little better. Anyone have a pic of one on a SXmini?

No pics yet, but I can take some and post later if someone doesn't beat me to it. :) The SXmini looks mint with a Kayfun V4

To best of my knowledge the SXmini was never less than $189. That original vendor post was a fake listing, that vendor never had the SXmini. I have had both the VS rDNA 40 and now the SXmini, and the Mini wins hands down.

Zero - did I miss the post of the innards, or did you not get a chance to post it yet? Very curious. Can't let us impatient people chew their own arms off in anticipation!

I figured at 60w on powerful, the powerful setting wouldnt do anything since it was already at its 60w limit, guess I was wrong. Its definitely adding the 10w to make it 70w at the start. This thing just plain rocks.
I was one of the ones who originally said they wouldnt buy it since it was a chinese device at $189, boy do I see the err in my ways. Best money ive spent on vaping gear in a long, long time.
Battery life is actually way better than I thought itd be at 60w Powerful too. Ive got my Joules conversions down pretty good so know my vape time limits.

So what kind of battery life are you getting at 60 watts? What atty is that on top?

Its dependent on the builds voltage, but for example a on a .33ohm built at 4.44v (60w + Powerful) takes about 220J per pull (3-4sec), theres about 39,000J in a 2500mah battery at 4.44v, of course you wont get that full 39k because of battery sag at that high power on a single battery, but if you did that'd be 177 puffs.
I havent actually timed how long I get the way I vape but I'll count how many puffs I can get before it stops being able to give me 60w on this battery and let you know.
Im an hour in so far and at 4.12v.

The atty is the Little Boy by MCV which Im gonna be switching off this device, its a bit too airy for 60w.
